Interface of Manage engine event log Analyzer is very friendly as compare to other like Forti SIEM. Onboarding process of the end devices like Firewall, Databases etc are very smooth. Support services, implementation services that Manage provides are very good.

While downloading the report only limited columns are allowed i.e. around 10 for every report. Specifically for on-premises ELA if we do any version update then many times logs fetching and stability issues occurs which will be resolved by Manage engine by providing custom patches and this will be provided only when you have advance support which is 20% of the software cost.

Specifically after onboarding the devices and data bases. created custom based alerts for critical events like admin credentials change, data bases stopped, multiple failed login attempts from a users etc.

Overall experience with ManageEngine Event Log Analyzer is great. The best part of the ManageEngine is Eco System. The Event Log Analyzer provides a piece of detailed information about the events in the easiest way in a great GUI.

I like that ManageEngine EventLog Analyzer was easy to set up and implement. Event log data almost immediately begins to siphon in and display using the dashboard. For some logging, agents need to be deployed and these are easily handled as well. The dashboard uses graphs to concisely display trends and urgent issues. Other menus allow you to delve deeper and get more details. Alerts can be set up to notify of possible issues based on different levels of urgency.

Any log analyzer requires extensive customization to get you useful alerts. EventLog Analyzer is no different. There is so much data in the event logs that you need to filter down to what is needed for security and proper network maintenance.

It's impossible to monitor the event logs of all your servers, devices and endpoints. ManageEngine EventLog Analyzer saves me with this task and alerts me of issues as they arise.

Has specific applications but not much more useful than that.

It's easy to setup and work with. But has limited applications to practical work unless spicific needs arise.

Searching for specific data in event viewer is easier to achieve with this application then through event viewer itself.

the ability to add information to messages, with pipelines we can add or remove field without modify the original message, it's very usefull for example with lookup table, in this way it's possible to check if an ip (destination or source) it's part of a ransomware campaign. Another cool feature is the ability to route logs in different index, any index can be stored in a different location and have a different retention policy. The product installs and runs as advertised. It tends to be pretty quick and able to digest a large volume of data at speed.

The UI could get better, it has a dull look.

It can be implemented easily and solve one of the more underestimate topic of IT and make sure to keep in mind of your data requirements.If you're a business that needs a quick solution to drop in place for centralized logging, definitely look into it.

centralization of logs with a centralized config management of collectors, it permit to manage hundred configurations of remote hosts, logs are usefull thinghs, they help in troubleshooting, configuration and decisions, with log it's possible to obtain answer from data and graylog is a very usefull tool to do this.

The ability to look at multiple server logs and server health on one window. Also a detailed server log.

I wish the user interface would be a little better.

It's a great tool to monitor servers and to view server logs. I love it!!
