"Enabling our Team and Others to be Remote and Secure"
What do you like best about ThreatDown?

Malwarebytes makes it easy for our Team to manage devices remotely. We don't have to worry about manually inspecting each device and checking all of the software versions, malwarbytes checks those and updates them for us.

Malwarebytes is also always looking for threats that our devices may be facing and when it discovers one it immediately locks the problem down until a member of our Team is able to look into the threat.

We started using Malwarebytes internally several years ago and Malwarebytes has earned are trust and put us in a position to begin offering services as a MSP. Malwarebytes is our top choice of an endpoint detection and response system for our clients, without Malwarebytes we wouldn't be able to manage as many devices as we do!

What do you dislike about ThreatDown?

I would say that the only downside to malwarebytes is that it takes so much off your plate that you may miss security trends that are happening at your company. Malwabytes has reports that you can generate to see more into what's going on, but it's not at a glance like so much of the platform is designed to be. We have a couple of users who are repeatedly having suspicious activity on their devices, I wish there was a way for malwarebytes to show me what computers are routinely having suspicious activity.

What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?

Malwarebytes solves the problem that many remote teams face: security. With Malwarebytes we are easily able to have systems in place that will protect our devices from the other threats out there without compromising the performance of the device. Malwarebytes is an application that easily runs in the background and most of our users don't notice that it is even there until it has to step in and help them out with cybersecurity.

Malwarebytes not only benefits us internally, but it also benefits the clients that we provide MSP services to. Malwarebytes saves us hours through their Managed Detection and Response and Patch Management. We don't have to employ a security expert to handle every detection on a device because Malwarebytes' team of experts takes care of those for us through their Managed Detection and Response module.

"Best endpoint protection!"
What do you like best about ThreatDown?

The admin interface is great to work with, and the deployment tool available through ThreatDown is easy to use. ThreatDown detects malware that other endpoint protection software do not. ThreatDown has always worked well alongside other solutions, such as Webroot, Windows Defender, etc, if you decide to go that route. Malwarebytes does really strive to make both an effective product and a easy to use interface.

What do you dislike about ThreatDown?

Overall, it's honestly been a great product. Nothing is perfect, but ThreatDown is a great product, and Malwarebytes continues to improve it and add capabilities. If I had to choose something, it might be that Malwarebytes is moving away from an A La Carte model on the sales side it seems, and now, they are moving to bundles as of late 2023. It will be interesting to see how this works out budget wise for customers. I don't have a strong opinion yet on that.

What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?

ThreatDown has found quite a few low severity threats that other antimalware solutions have not detected. ThreatDown has helped our users keep their browsers cleaner by preventing extensions/add-ons from being installed as well as protecting users from malicious websites and from malicious items trying to send external data out from the client machine.

"Great security and managed services, affordable."
What do you like best about ThreatDown?

ThreatDown MDR is simple to deploy and manage. They increase our security posture, meet cyber security insurance requirements, and make a great partner to augment my small IT team.

What do you dislike about ThreatDown?

There is some growth needed in the patch management piece. Also, it doesn't make sense to have all the different security tools be addons. Endpoint protection should include patch management, DNS, etc.

What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?

Device security posture. We use it for AV, patch management, ransomware protection, centralized management, and with MDR, off hour monitoring and response. The console allows us to manage it all centrally. Support is fast and thorough.

"Best Malware Security system on the Market!"
What do you like best about ThreatDown?

Company wide, love that you can deploy the system within our organization very easily and promptly. Also have had zero complaints from people using it within our organization. Also great UI for usability!

What do you dislike about ThreatDown?

Can't say I have much things to say bad about Malwarebytes. Ive been a long time user that enjoys it a lot! But one thing that can change slightly is dashboard UX Design to be easily usable.

Recommendations to others considering ThreatDown:

Honestly, it's worth it. I personally have used Norton and it was okay but I did not like the UI and it didn't detect somethings that could have been harmful. But with Malwarebytes I have never had any issues since getting it back since 2015

What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?

PopUp protection and Malware protection within our organization is key. We're a known company and we on occasion get fake emails with viruses or people trying to breach someones computer. With Malwarebytes we have a sense of security and it has helped a lot!

"Best Threat protection out there"
What do you like best about ThreatDown?

I like it effectiveness it preventing and eliminating threats #1. #2 I like the optional features which allow for a single pane of glass for features such as installed software and and updates. #3 is endpoint isolation, it just works when all else fails.

What do you dislike about ThreatDown?

Reporting could be a better experience. More graphs and pie charts for ease of view and easier export to PDF for Execs.

What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?

Preventing and removing threats in realtime. Single pain of glass to manage endpoints.

"ThreatDown review"
What do you like best about ThreatDown?

I like the color coded dashboard. I can see at a glance that my servers are doing well or need attention. I enjoy the sense of security that comes with having others monitor for supicous activity and alert me to anything that pops up. Installation is a breeze, mantanence is non-existant.

What do you dislike about ThreatDown?

There are no downsides to ThreatDown that I have found so far.

What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?

I use ThreatDown to monitor the company servers. It makes me feel much more confidant in our security than an unmonitored piece of software.

"I tried the rest and have found the best!!! This is our 5th year! Still awesome!"
What do you like best about ThreatDown?

I love that Malwarebytes is easy to install, update and manage. Also it is a big plus that the software free version actually reports where other antivirus fail and report back so the collected information can be used to improve the Malwarebytes product.

What do you dislike about ThreatDown?

The product has exceeded our expectations. We have enjoyed five years of fabulous service.

Recommendations to others considering ThreatDown:

Just do it!! You will not be disappointed!! Contact a Sales person and ask to see their product demonstration. You will be impressed and see why I think Malwarebytes is such a great product.

What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?

We are getting a total solution for our Macintosh and Dell computers. We are noticing a drastic decrease in problems since we started using Malwarebytes. We had all kinds of issues with Avast and Symantec. We are seeing exploits blocked so teachers are not calling with all the pop-up problems and malware messages. Also, we are using the Malwarebytes Chrome extension to protect our browser. They also have a free malware blocker plugin for most web browsers. There is a wonderful online training that explains how to manage from the cloud. After five years we can honestly say we are still very very happy.

"Small App Great Security"
What do you like best about ThreatDown?

It gives me peace of mind. I no longer have to worry about users possibly running into issues and having to reach out to our technical team. This keeps them secure at all times. We can monitor the activity and issues and even fix things remotely without having to reach out to the end user. As long as the PC is online, we are covered.

What do you dislike about ThreatDown?

There isn't too much that I can say is bad. There is a ton of customization you can do to help but i'll give one example. Say there is an app in a certain location that may need to be excluded. You have multiple options. You can exclude by file, by path, by hash, and so on and so forth. When you do it one way or another it is only excluded in certain manners. For example a hash will exclude exploit protection but a direct file location will not. Once you get the hang of it there is no problem moving forward.

What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?

It is keeping my users safe. I am able to take my time and concentrate on other projects instead of being interrupted all the time with possible issues. This eliminates most possibilities of issues as I can go back and check logs before even logging into a users pc.

"nice proudct great experience"
What do you like best about ThreatDown?

Malwarebytes is easy to use, customizable, very intuitive, it is a capable antivirus and antimalware product that offers real-time protection with very good performance and behavior.

What do you dislike about ThreatDown?

The free version of Malwarebytes but I don't consider it very good to be used as a separate antivirus. In any case, the free version in conjunction with an antivirus is good to check and eliminate malware on a computer

I was reviewing and documenting the tests carried out in SafetyDetectivesy and I could see that the product obtained a very good rating in terms of detecting malware, with much better performance than kaspersky which is the product that I previously used.

Recommendations to others considering ThreatDown:

I find Malwarebytes to be one of the best antimalware scan engines I have tried. The free version is recommended to use it with an antivirus and real time protection, the Premium version is very effective. I find it to be very light and stable. I think it is an excellent option.

What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?

It took me a few minutes to understand how to use the program. It was a quick check of the computer to make sure it was well protected. I was struck by how quickly a test virus was detected and how it generated the alert with possible actions with a very good reaction time.

"The Complete Package to protect your endpoints anywhere anytime."
What do you like best about ThreatDown?

The comprehensive approach they have taken to secuiring all your endpoints from Windows machines down to Androis and iOS devices means you really can protect every critical device with ease and ensure they're compliant with business needs.

What do you dislike about ThreatDown?

In all honesty, I'm yet to find anything I dislike about the product. There are a couple of *bugs* but you get that with any software, ultimately as with any software offering there will always be issues and false positives but the support you receive around rectifying the issue is what makes them stand out from the rest.

Recommendations to others considering ThreatDown:

Try it, it's free! You'll see the benefits, and I'm sure you'll agree it's one of the best offerings out on the market. Dont just use it in the office either use their home product and get the full picture on how it can protect you both at work and at home.

What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?

The protection Malwarebytes offers over a standard AV suite is second to none, I used to use it alongside other competitive suites but Malwarebytes was always first to detect and remove threats so it became my only endpoint suite. I can now rest safe in the knowledge that all my clients are protected from Malware / Ransomware and Exploits. The problem for any IT manager is peace of mind and whilst we'll never truly get that MWB goes a long way to helping. Additionally they now protect mobile devices so this comprehensive defence now extends far beyond just the traditional desktop/laptop/server installs and now stops malware dead at the extremities of the business regardless of what network they're connected to.
