Efficiency Improvement Good for small, medium and large simulations

What do you like best about Lanner WITNESS?

The software is very user friendly. I have not used it on many occasions, but for a beginner, it was very easy to use and design elements. The newer updated make it more graphically better to visualize and design.

What do you dislike about Lanner WITNESS?

Lot of features found in other simulation packages have more features, although not necessary for basic simulation, it could still help for those who would like to emulate a system better

From a beginners standpoint, it is very easy to start using WITNESS, compared to other software's available

Once you get a hang of the software, there are many features that are lacking in this software compared to others like simio for further detailed analysis.

What do you like best about Lanner WITNESS?

The software offers very good simulation tools. It is good and easy to use. Simulations over weeks gives good results, especially breakdown and idle time of machines

What do you dislike about Lanner WITNESS?

Very often the speed of simulation cannot be controller, looks more like a software problems that needs to be fixed

What do you like best about Lanner WITNESS?

I liked that Lanner WITNESS can model and simulate different production processes so it was beneficial to me. This way, I am able to select from a large number of dispositions and determine where the main issues are and how they will affect the plant when the changes are made.

What do you dislike about Lanner WITNESS?

To get insights from the results of the simulation the data is usually saved into another program for further analysis and data visualization. This two-step process is rather tedious and again it interrupts the general process of working.

What problems is Lanner WITNESS solving and how is that benefiting you?

Lanner WITNESS copes with the problem of the anticipation of effects caused by changes in the manufacturing system. When I model certain situations I can see where problems are likely to occur and correct them before they actually affect the production process.

The great flexibility, if you know the tool you can simulate everything

The complexity, if you don't use Witness very often every time is like the first time
