Overall, I am very satisfied with Juniper Square, but if I had to suggest an improvement, it would be to add more customization features for reports and dashboards. Although the current options are very robust, having more flexibility to tailor the reports exactly to our specific needs could make the tool even more powerful for investment management teams.

I like how you can get to different places through multiple ways. Especially different entities that are connected to one another.

I wish there was an easier way to find check payments and other transactions that require approval from the dashboard page. Currently, I need to be told what investment entities specifically have check distributions pending. Then I must manually navigate there to approve. There should be some centralized place on the dashboard to easily find this

It is solving our investor fund organization by deal. This helps alleviate a lot of time that it takes my team accounting team to track what funds and distributions are for each investor.

One downside of Juniper Square is its relatively high pricing, which can be a barrier for smaller firms or those just starting out.

Juniper Square streamlines our fundraising and subscription process for our investors. It is very user friendly and our investors love having a one-stop shop for all of their documents and position questions.

Juniper Square is not able to handle Side Letters in waterfall structures. So, unless, you have a basic waterfall structure, you will not be able to use JSQ for complicated or slightly out of the box waterfalls.

Juniper Square streamlines our investor subscription process with digital subscriptions and houses everything in one place. It also effectively manages our fundraising pipeline making our capital raisers jobs easier.

The overview of upcoming developments at Juniper Square and the opportunity to meet some of the leadership was great! The round table with peers was also great. The customer support is great and our implementation process on the Fund Admin side has been great.

Juniper Square is currently not the easiest to update or make edits in.

We recently signed up with JSQ so we are in the onboarding stage. From what we’ve seen there hasn’t been anything we dislike about the platform.

Juniper Square was implemented at our firm when we launched both an open-end fund and a closed-end fund several years ago. Since we are a small firm, it allowed us to easily automate the subscription process for the funds and setup the investor accounts/positions in a relatively short time-frame. Additionally, it allows the team to more efficiently distribute documents to the investors on a quarterly basis or as needed. Our investors also like that it serves as their own document repository for the funds. It has been a game-changer for our firm.

We also value the timely Customer Support that we have received from Juniper Square. Questions are answered and issues are resolved quickly.

For me, the best part about Juniper Square is the platform and the technology. I love how they are constantly improving and the technology never gets stale like other investor portals or CRMs. It’s a big differentiator among all other fund administrators. The people are really great as well, and always extremely helpful with anything that I need. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for an admin, or investor portal.

Juniper Square is still building out the portal to be tailored to private equity, so some of the functionality isn’t quite there yet, but it sounds like that is slowly changing.

They have helped us integrate multiple services into one platform, allowing for a more seamless experience.
