What do you like best about JPedal Java PDF Library?
The training materials and manual provided are quite helpful. I cant find anything to complain about as the library. It offers a solution unlike alternatives that come with limitations.

What do you like best about JPedal Java PDF Library?
JPedal's ability to image PDF documents is the feature we use most often in our internal business applications. We also make some use of the included JDeli image library. I should also give a shout-out to JPedal's support team. They have been absolutely fantastic.
What do you dislike about JPedal Java PDF Library?
Very little. This library does what it claims and does it well.
What problems is JPedal Java PDF Library solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use this library to provide image representations of PDF documents for use in our internal business applications. (Thumbnail images, Web-based page renderings, etc.

What do you like best about JPedal Java PDF Library?
It's absolutely easy to use and it provided the best results of all libraries we tested over the years.
What do you dislike about JPedal Java PDF Library?
Performance. I can't really say that this is a point that I dislike, but we would need better speed (as always).
What problems is JPedal Java PDF Library solving and how is that benefiting you?
We need to create renditions of PDF files so that people can view them conveniently in the browser. For our purposes, this is better than displaying the PDF natively in the browser.

Easy to use solution, accurate, and well documented
What do you like best about JPedal Java PDF Library?
This solution is very easy to use. The conversion is very accurate and there are many options available to solve a wide variety of use cases. JPedal is well documented. New features and updates are frequent, and support has always been quick to solve issues and prove help. I can’t recommend them enough.
What do you dislike about JPedal Java PDF Library?
Honestly, there are not a lot of drawbacks. Unless you are needing a complete free solution, and are okay with whatever limits may come with the avilable opensource projects, JPedal is the most complete option that I have found.
What problems is JPedal Java PDF Library solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm using JPedal to convert the first page of PDF files to an image for display as a cover image.

Solution to a complicated XFA PDF problem.
What do you like best about JPedal Java PDF Library?
The support: I'm an amateur programmer (professional veterinarian) with a very small but very important open source project used by my small group users. I had problems with one type of PDF document displaying. Mark helped me get that working and then later helped me understand the security risks with the problem file type.
What do you dislike about JPedal Java PDF Library?
Well, the fact that they had to drop support for javascript enabled XFA documents.
Recommendations to others considering JPedal Java PDF Library?
The support is worth it.
What problems is JPedal Java PDF Library solving and how is that benefiting you?
I started out with the LGPL version for display of all PDF files. Later we went to the commercial version to add support for XFA.
