I like that Jetpack Workflow is simple, and you can just jump right into it. The setup was very easy for me.

I'd like to be able to input my client arrangement sheet and some of those details, so maybe just a better experience with that would be good.

Jetpack is a clean and straightforward workflow solution that is designed specifically for accounting practices. The designers are familiar with the accounting business and have made the functionality match, I especially enjoy the new UI in V2.

The lack of api/zapier connectivity is the only thing that I feel is a disadvantage. Document storage within the program would also be a significant improvement.

Jetpack Workflow does what it says it will very well: which is internal workflow management and data housing. The product is dependable and consistent. I found the support staff easy to work with.

This product is limited to a specific wheelhouse. We quickly outgrew the product and needed more features. We sought more of a CRM that could help us manage emails as a team, and we needed a mobile app to work on the go.

When we used Jetpack Workflow it was a great way to have all of our client notes and logins in one central location that could be accessed by the whole team. It allowed us to get rid of the analog Rolodex that we used to keep that information before.

Jetpack Workflow gives you a place to put all tasks that we have due monthly, quarterly, bi-annually, and annually, prioritize those tasks, assign them, and show the workflow of who, how, and when items need to be finished and reviewed. Sharepoint workflow has a similar functionality, but Jetpack takes it a few steps beyond which has made hiring new employees and getting them into the flow much easier.

It is a common complaint when you talk with other Jetpack users, but once you set a task in motion and allocate portions of it based on when those are due, you can not change it without undoing the whole process and re-ordering the complete task. While not a deal-breaker for most, it aggravates not being able to shuffle things around or add new functions that might or might not take precedent over another.

The main issue we've always had was bringing in new people to the organization and getting them into the mix, and understanding how their job timing flows into the timings of other employees and management. With Jetpack, the deadlines are set in place. Everyone knows that your direct report can see when items are not being done on a timely basis and who else is being held up because of this, so it's adding a layer of accountability.

it is very easy and user-friendly. keeps tasks organized and accountable within teams. the tagging feature is very useful. very easy for new team members onboarding to see what the work entails as well as managers and partners. its essentially a virtual notepad that can be shared amongst team members.

nothing in particular that i dislike. system has been great, no issues thus far. never had an issue of the system failing either which is always helpful.

if you are looking for a system to keep you organized, this is the one. it is super easy to use and learn. all my teams love using this and keeps the client folders organized.

organizational skills and having to keep up with the monthly/yearly tasks. jetpack has made it easy to remember what items we need complete each month, especially when we have new teams onboarding.

Using JetPack helps us keep track of all the big and small things so nothing falls through the cracks. The dashboard view showing overdue tasks, due today, this week and next week is very helpful. It's been especially helpful as we have added our first employee (aside from my husband and myself) in her keeping track of what needs to be done - we flipped jobs over to her and she knew what was needed. The ability to have templates and duplicate jobs from one client to another is also very helpful as many of our processes are the same, no matter who we are dealing with.

Unable to batch change due dates or persons assigned to jobs/tasks when making changes for a recurring job. Unable to reorder tasks if a dependency is set up - this is frustrating when you need to add a task to a large job that should be somewhere other than the bottom for the task order. You have to remove all the dependencies, reorder the tasks, then re-set all the dependencies. Unable to have more than one contact per company - multiple contacts are needed as we deal with multiple people for some of our clients but have no way to record other contacts and what their roles/functions are. Everything must then be told verbally/emailed to those that need to know. I also find the screen for adding or modifying a job to be clunky. If the field is left empty, it "disappears" meaning you have to hover your mouse over white space to find it back again. The flow of the fields is not very intuitive.

How to keep track of all the little things that need to be done on a recurring basis. How to communicate to an employee what needs to be done. Clarifying who is responsible for what and streamlining our internal processes.

Jetpack Workflow has a template for just about every accountant task you could think of. Task templates range from bookkeeping, payroll, and numerous tax preparation needs.

I wish they had iOS mobile and Mac desktop apps available.

It's easy to forget important steps for project types that you don't have on a daily basis. Jetpack Workflow helped us deliver consistent tax preparation services across all of our tax clients.

More so, Jetpack Workflow helps in cost analysis and budgeting, suitable for efficient planning and business operations.

I like the templates and ability to customize each step for every project. The interface is user friendly, clean, and sharp.

I don't like how the client name is "sticky" each time you go to search, I wish it would clear when I opened that page up again.

Take the time to set it up properly, it's very consuming and can be tedious but it's worth it in the long run. There's a lot of templates you won't use, just get rid of them to avoid clunkiness.

We are meeting client deadlines, not missing projects, and keeping on top of the workflow. Its helpful to assign the project to each employee so you know who to go with questions.

I would like the product to have the option of listing client names by first or last name. I also wish it came with a CRM feature

If you are in the Accounting industry and need a way to keep track of projects and deadlines this software will definitely fulfill those needs.

I have been able to stay organized and not forget important projects. I barelymiss deadlines thanks to Jetpack. It eliminates keeping tasks and to-do list on paper.
