Jedox makes financial planning and analysis feel seamless. I love how it connects data from multiple systems like Excel, ERP, and CRM into one unified model, which saves tons of manual work. The flexibility to create dynamic forecasts, what-if scenarios, and real-time dashboards is a huge advantage. It’s especially great for automating reporting and giving decision-makers instant visibility into key performance metrics. The Excel-like interface makes it easy to use but much more powerful.

The initial setup and modeling process can be a bit complex for beginners, especially if you don’t have prior OLAP or data integration experience. Some advanced configuration requires technical knowledge, and training new users takes time. Also, while the web dashboards are great, the interface could be slightly more modern and faster when handling very large datasets.

Jedox helps bring all of my business data together in one place, It eliminates the need for multiple spreadsheets by automating data consolidation and reporting. That saves a huge amount of time every month and reduces manual errors. The ability to run forecasts and “what-if” scenarios helps me plan better and make faster, data-driven decisions. It’s also great for tracking performance across multiple brands or departments in real time.

I recently had the opportunity to use Jedox, and I must say, it’s an impressive planning tool that stands out for its capabilities and user-friendliness.

Jedox excels in providing a robust platform for financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting. One of its strongest points is its powerful planning functionalities, which are adaptable to various industries and business needs. The software is highly customizable, allowing you to tailor workflows, dashboards, and reports to match your specific requirements.

Creation and adaptability to our reporting and forecasting requrements. We've retired a ton of inconsistent reporting databooks and enabled ELT & SLT to proactively review and manage their P&Ls and Forecasts. As a result our team now has free time to analyse and delve into allsorts with the Ops managers.

Presenting detailed reports via a browsr not too user friendy when streaming across sites. Could be a fault on our end relying on a report to do it all.

Clean current trustworthy P&Ls available at any time, mitigates risk in databooks and frees up time. Forecasting much quicker - consolidating perpetually evolving revenue pipelines across 100+ divisions was a huge burden in excel.

What I like best about this software is its smooth and relatively fast implementation. It allowed us to start with the basics and gradually add more functionality as we became comfortable with it. Initially, we implemented it as a reporting tool across multiple subsidiaries, customizing the reporting structure to align with our specific business needs. We were then able to automate the consolidation of our figures in a dedicated group consolidation tool, which offered a more standardized reporting format.

Another standout feature is the user-friendly interface, which our end-users really appreciate. The dashboards and standard reports provide clear insights and make data easy to interpret, which has been a game-changer for our budgeting process. We were able to implement the budgeting module shortly after, helping us streamline planning and reporting. Overall, the software adapts well to different phases of our growth and changing requirements, which is invaluable for our business

One area that could be improved is tracking changes within the tool, as it’s not as intuitive as it could be, making it harder to see what’s been adjusted and when. Additionally, setting up custom reports and dashboards requires a decent amount of training to get right.

Its strength lies in handling large datasets with flexibility for easy modifications. It gives you an opportunity to connect Jedox with SQL databases and also make input files in excel and upload it in Jedox.

We are using Jedox for budgeting and forecasting purposes. It helps to gather wast amount of data together, construct relationships and correlate different items with each other.

It's a new technology compared to existing tools, so movement from excels to Jedox was a bit painful, but it still results in a great upgrade.

It's a centrilzed tool for the whole dataset and you can influence all the data taking only one action. That's very useful thing to have.
