We have used all sorts of services, from the lowest cost to the highest. What we liked immediately at IONOS was the support we received, something I believe is of primary importance, be it sales or technical they were always there. In addition to this, the other main aspect that keeps us with IONOS is the Datacenter Designer .. super fast and fun to work with.

I have only one thing .. the Datacenter Designer needs improvements, and IONOS are aware and working on this ... so I like the dislike already!

we need to spin up private spaces for our customers in order to provide them the cloud infrastructure to use our software on. The IONOS DCD offering allows us to provision on demand, Brilliant!

IONOS Enterprise Platform is what I can say a real cloud!

You can scale up your CPU, RAM & Storage real time and use as you go.

It provides Real Time Scalability & Data Center Desiner gives server admins a visual representation of the servers he manages like what you would see on a real data center environment. Their Account Management Team is also top tier and would go out of thier way to provide good support and traning to my organisation.

Nothing much to say about dislikes, but maybe they can improve more on thier storage pricing maybe much less that amazon aws.

IONOS Enterprise Platform is a great solution for a growing company and those already at an enterprise level.

We have a problems before with baremetal cloud servers and its scaling option. Before for you to scale up a cloud server is you have to coordinate with your current provider and request for an upgrade. Which doesn't make sense as this would mean that what you have is a co-location servers rather that true cloud servers.

Since beginning my journey as an IONOS Cloud referral partner, they have been amazingly helpful with the whole partner process and I couldn’t be happier with their level of customer service.

So far there is nothing I can complain about!

The simplicity of use. Their control panel is great and you can easily scale and create new servers, datacenters, connect them to different LANs and deploy them to production. Also, they are more cheap than AWS and we have a great uptime with them. Support is great, every time they have contacted me very fast.

The UI of control panel still has to be polished somehow, but they are on to it.

Cheap, realiable and easy to use platform for cloud hosting.

I work with very large scale of servers and customers and using Profitbricks has helped me to achieve what I want.

The GUI to provision servers and the time taken to do so. The servers can easily be associated to a network and exposed to the www. The firewall is easily configured aswell. The level of support is really good. I had many Google meetings with 2 or 3 IONOS staff who were always very helpful and knowledgeable (Lawrence Jackson, Zihni Saglam, Russel Barley).

The backup console took a bit of getting used to and a few issues were encountered along the way. Downloading the ISO, uploading the ISO, then registering console etc seemed to be a bit long winded. The issue I had after a vm clone was the backup agent installed on the backup box overwrote the backup device on the live box. The support was good to get me through this. However i think better documentation could be given/written.

All problems now solved. We created a new backup db server (OL7.8 inc SQL Server) from a full backup of the live server. This had a Acronis backup attached to it and we tested incremental backups and sql server backups on this server.

We can conveniently store our databases and don't have to worry about maintaining its infrastructure & patching. It provides high scalability and numerous data connectors are provided to facilitate integrations with our third-party tools. It is best suited for all applications that require quick deployments, proper load balancing, auto-scaling and high availability.

It supports all our database requirements namely MySQL, PostgreSQL & Redis. Since its infrastructure resources provisioning is done in its dedicated cloud platform, there won't be any latency issues or connection failures. All procurements and license management are handled by the IONOS cloud platform so we needn't worry about service interruptions & we only pay for the services that we use. We have only recently started utilizing its DBaaS but resource visibility & cost estimates are insightful in its console.

We can automate scheduled backup using Terraform scripts in the IONOS cloud platform. Through its DBaaS APIs, we connect it with our Database monitoring tools to obtain reports of our dB performance metrics & for resource discovery. We can also define a custom maintenance window for our migration activities so that we carry out limited to no disruptions during our planned failover activity. It also provides Write-Ahead-Logs (WAL) features to our PostgreSQL system so that they carry our continuous logs archiving which can also be appended to our regular logs.

The interface is pretty straightforward and the settings are easy to configure. There are useful resources within IONOS if you are after something as well.

Some of the guides needs to be update, I have found on a few occasions where some of the options weren't what it showed on the guide, but other than that I can't think of one at the moment.

We have lots of websites and web application that we host on IONOS cloud.

I really enjoyed the ability to visually design of a network and the computing resources. At the same time built in multi-zone, multi DC distribution took is a welcome feature. Customer support was outstanding, in a few instances where we needed it we were on the phone with 2nd level engineers within a few hours. "Free" and seamless elasticity is of a great help and saves devops dollars.

One obvious shortcoming at the time (a year ago, and perhaps this is fixed by now) was the account access management. At the time it was rudimentary, allowing only one login per organization. We also found that auto scaling down was an issue.

The company was running an image recognition and processing platform. We had a significant demand for computer power and elastic scaling. Profitbriks allowed us to run our architecture without extra devops cost. The same stack would require dedicated devops team if ran on AWS.
