It Just Works: Low-Maintenance and Reliable
What do you like best about Intruder?
It does what we need it to do and requires very little interaction or maintenance on our part. We haven’t had any issues with it so far—it just works.
What do you dislike about Intruder?
The Help Center feels buried under my account information, and it really should be more prominent on the screen. It took me a while to locate it. I’d also like to see more specific information on ciphers, including guidance on how they should be used in different situations. Finally, when the recommended fix requires a software upgrade, we sometimes can’t upgrade due to legacy concerns; it would be helpful to have suggestions for alternative methods to stay protected, or at least a clear place to find that kind of information.
What problems is Intruder solving and how is that benefiting you?
Increase security for our websites and provide documentation of penetration testing to our clients and vendors

Effortless Setup, Enhances Network Security
What do you like best about Intruder?
I really appreciate that Intruder helped us gain visibility on our network, which made it easier to understand our risks and take concise action to tighten our defenses. It's incredibly simple to set up and see exactly what's going on, unlike other programs that are complicated. I also love how quickly we had it running, just within a few hours. Right now, we're in the honeymoon phase and enjoying all of it.
What do you dislike about Intruder?
I would likely say more information on licensing costs - it was challenging to find this on the site. But this in no way impacted the quality or usability of Intruder.
What problems is Intruder solving and how is that benefiting you?
Intruder helps us gain visibility on our network, close security gaps, and easily understand risks to enhance our defenses.

Outstanding Experience with No Drawbacks
What do you like best about Intruder?
What we’ve found most helpful about Intruder is the clarity and prioritisation of its findings. Rather than overwhelming us with low-value noise, it highlights vulnerabilities that genuinely matter and explains why they are important. The continuous scanning model is a big advantage, as it means new issues are identified as our environment changes, rather than relying on occasional point-in-time tests. The level of context provided for each finding, including exploitability and practical remediation guidance, makes it much easier to take meaningful action. Intruder also gives excellent visibility of externally exposed assets, which are often the areas of highest risk. The dashboard is clean and intuitive, allowing us to communicate risk clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and it integrates smoothly into our existing workflows without heavy setup. Overall, it provides ongoing assurance that we are actively reducing real-world risk rather than simply running scans for compliance.
What do you dislike about Intruder?
At this stage, we haven’t identified any significant downsides. The platform has been straightforward to set up, the findings have been clear and actionable, and it has integrated well into our existing processes. If anything, any future feedback is more likely to be around additional features or refinements rather than core shortcomings, but so far our experience has been entirely positive.
What problems is Intruder solving and how is that benefiting you?
Intruder is solving the problem of infrequent, point-in-time vulnerability testing. Previously, vulnerability scanning was largely an annual exercise carried out by third-party suppliers, which meant issues could exist for months before being identified. By using Intruder to run regular weekly scans, we now have continuous visibility of our security posture and can identify and address vulnerabilities much earlier. This significantly reduces risk, shortens remediation timelines, and gives us far greater confidence that new or emerging issues are not being missed between formal assessments.

Effortless Scan Management with Cloud Sync and Authentication
What do you like best about Intruder?

What do you dislike about Intruder?

Intruder: Effortless and Effective Security Scanning
What do you like best about Intruder?
I appreciate Intruder's easy user interface, which allows me to navigate effortlessly. The automatic scanning feature is invaluable as it runs scans whenever a new issue arises, saving me the need to initiate them manually. This automation helps in quickly identifying new vulnerabilities and understanding what they pertain to. I love the capability to easily track issues within the interface until they are resolved, simplifying my workflow significantly. Additionally, Intruder's proactive approach in staying on top of identifying potential security vulnerabilities means I don’t have to allocate someone specifically for constant monitoring, which is a considerable advantage. The initial setup was straightforward as well, only requiring the creation of dedicated user accounts for the application and the Intruder bot to log in and perform deep scanning. Overall, Intruder not only maintains a seamless usability but also effectively integrates with our development tools like Azure DevOps, making it an incredibly valuable resource in our security management efforts.
What do you dislike about Intruder?
Nothing comes to mind.
What problems is Intruder solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Intruder to identify security vulnerabilities in our applications and networks, providing solutions to fix these issues. Its automatic scanning and easy interface save time by eliminating the need for constant monitoring.
