Imperva tool is helping us to combat and defend against this log4j vulnerability.
we could see attempts by malicious threat actors attempting to exploit this vulnerability through our organization's CAP websites, but the WAF is doing as expected and blocking these attempts.
In many cases, the CVE’s which associated with the attack (these are related to the log4j vulnerability), and it provides verification that the WAG has blocked 100% of these attempts. This is exactly what we were looking for.
Unable to use Minification settings across the board. Example:
We developed an Angular APP, but we could not apply the minification because the WAF site is configured to optimize and minify. However, minification is a must-have for Angular apps, and not using it defeats the purpose of the Angular app in the first place.
Our company was exposed to a newly discovered zero-day vulnerability with Apache Log4j2 known as Log4Shell last year. We took several measures and actions that we were doing to prevent exposure to this vulnerability. Some of the remediation measures are as follows -
1. Leverage Waratek ARMR patch to virtually patch systems
2. Enable Log4j settings according to Hurricane Labs' suggestion - Log4j2 versions 2.10.0 and greater have a formatMsgNoLookups property which will mitigate the vulnerability if enabled. If this setting does not break anything in your application, it is recommended to enable it.
3. Upgrade Log4j
4. Block known IP’s which are exploiting vulnerabilities
We were using the Imperva tool to defend against this log4j vulnerability.

We are using the product across the entire organization for all of our SQL database servers. We use it primarily as a compliance tool for reporting and HiTrust certification. Provides many options (almost to a fault) for database scanning and data classification. We replaced another more expensive product with SecureSphere and was able to get more functionality out the product for less money. It does a great job of DB scanning and data classification.
It is perhaps a bit unfriendly in terms of its interface and initial setup. It's not intuitive and takes time to really learn. Once it is going, it works well.

First of all, I like Imperva because it's provides OWASP TOP 10 protection also, we can create separate rules for security and such a great Web Application Firewall.
First of all there is no more dislike from my side but one is that when we create new rule and whitelist and blacklist any IP's that time one rule is not create from our end.
In the past, I faced one issue in time the support team would provide me with the best solution. The issue was a DNS error, but the support team helped me better, and I have solved my problem.
