The graphical user interface is great to use and makes things easy. IWA has a REST API interface that's front ended using swagger, which makes development and testing straight forward. Product works well in both datacenter and cloud environments including Kubernetes.

IBM documentation could do with improving. It's such a broad automation product that some pieces need further depth in documentation, even though the features are there.

IWA solves automation through configuration rather than scripting. With so many job types (integrations) most applications are covered and easy to set up. Schedulig resources are reuseable, and with auditing and version control the time to value is greatly reduced.

Architecture is a little complex to understand.

Simplify operations the key here. Using self automation much manual work can be eliminated.

The integration products are IBM centric unlike other work load automation tools in the market. Moving from a different automation environment can be tough.

Go for it if you're a familiar with java API usage as the documentation often doesn't solve all your queries.

Collection information on resources from various sources and rerouting them to run preconfigured batch jobs is very easy. Running and tracking of job status throughout the infrastructure is seamless.

The technical support is great, the product is easy-to-use, and it is stable

The best thing about the IBM workload automation tool is that it helps in real-time workload management. The whole product has a very good user interface and it's very stable. The tool has a feature to batch automate the process which helps in saving lots of time and effort. It also has a feature to create folders which helps in organizing the folders with naming conventions.

IBM workload automation does not provide interlinking with other third-party software tools. There is also a need for improvement in terms of available documentation for its features as we are not able to use all its features due to less information about their uses. They must also launch a mobile app so that we can access the tool more easily and faster.

I would recommend using the IBM workload automation tool as it helps in batch automation as well as workload management. Secondly, IBM has the best customer support which helps in solving the issues much faster.

There was a big problem with workload management so by this tool we were able to manage the workload easily. It has provided efficiency and accountability.

Sometimes its extensive features can lead to a steep learning curve for admins who are new to system and it needs lot of training and expertise to make most of its functionalities

Working with rest api and getting response still some manual activities involved and furthermore optimization is required.

Intergration with any of the cloud platforms can be improved as there are lot of competitive automation tools in the market. The supporting documents are not detailed and therefore, lack support on all features.

Its easy to navigate, it rarely freezes up on you.
