Easy to use. Can control the spending and searching of employees with the click of a button. If needed you can make changes on the fly or book the hotels directly for guests or as an admin to exceed the thresholds you set up for employees.
Sometimes the app or website gives me a little trouble. Not enough to persuade me to stop using. It has gotten better with the last few updates
Able to book rooms with credit cards. No phone calls needed with leveled pricing set to employees
The best part is the rewarding part. I book my colleagues hotels and get rewarded with points to use myself. I am currently using my points for my Thanksgiving break to visit family.
I do not dislike anything regarding this platform and I've using this platform for two years.
Once a representative signs you up, they walk you through it. They make sure you are comfortable using the platform.
No problems, I benefit from being able track different things all on one platform. I am able to enter a PO number which is typically our Job number's. It helps me quickly find reservations pertaining to a certain project.

HE is easy to use, and has a huge number of hotels to choose from. Their pricing is definitely better.. we've saved quite a bit of money so far. Example: we needed a hotel and I was recommended one by an employee. He said call, so he'd get their special pricing, which was already $10 off the nightly rate. I checked the HE site first, and was able to save an additional $4 per night off his stay!
Nothing! If I had to come up with something, I wish that the hotel fees were all-inclusive - some of them have little charges on top of the room that are determined by the hotel itself. I'd love them to be all in one. I talked to our rep about it though, it's something they're working on.
Just keep in mind that all rooms are not necessarily refundable. They tell you, though.
Our superintendents need rooms constantly, but they're between states and jobs and keeping track is sometimes a mess. This centralizes billing for us and keeps all of the info I need all in one place.
Consistently lower prices on the same hotels I had used with hotel.com
link to book the same hotel again. If I do not mark a certain hotel as a favorite, it is not easy to find again. I need to go to my prior bookings and surf around until I find the hotel. Then I click to bring the reservation back up, then I need to copy and paste in the home page "find a hotel" box. The process should be easier. In this area, hotels.com is more user friendly. It is easier to re-book a hotel on their site.
I have a problem with a hotel I booked with hotel engine, but the issue was between my credit card company and the hotel - it was not hotel engine's fault.
They are always helpful and available when needed
Some times the hotel doesn't see the payment in their system when using the direct bill.
We are able to track all travel on one site and keep things organized.

Extremely simple to use, good deals on rooms, support is great. If you have employees in the field to book for, keep track of, do job costing on, etc this site makes it all easy to manage.
The previous method used gave physical cards to employees which did make slighty easier for them to get rooms on their own when needed. The ability to set limits for employees easily outweighed this option for our company.
More controlled spending on lodging. Better tracking of employees and rooms.
