The best thing about homestead is the simplicity. It's drag and drop and the builder is very similar to Wix, but it's pared down in a way that makes it very beginner friendly. How it looks in the builder is how it will look in real life!

It's simple on purpose, but obviously having less customization is not always ideal.

I designed a client's website on homestead and what I found was that it made the design process simple and straightforward. It also was easy to hand off to the client who was not the most tech savvy.

The templates are easy to understand and fill in. The visual quality of the templates is extremely good!

Unfortunately, there is not a free pricing plan.

I managed to build multiple websites with Homestead. The benefit of using Homestead is I was able to build a website rapidly.

How easy homestead website is to use and navigate, the cost is very reasonable, and the dashboard is clear and concise. the how to get started and help tabs make it easy to figure out what the user is trying to accomplish, all of the different color themes to pick from make it very fun to design

you know I haven't really found anything so far, if I didn't have prior knowledge of a computer then it could possibly be I bit tricky to figure out but with the up loads of graphics design elemints of the page and over all usage of it I truly cant complain

I would absolutely take a look at Homestead I find it very helpful easy to use and extremely efficient in helping take care of my needs

I am able to get my product on the internet, I am able to get it in the eyes of buyers, and gives me the added ability to end up in a decent google search, it also benefits me by legitimizing me my company and my business giving us an upper hand and a professional look that says that SDC is here and ready for business. that we have what it takes and that shows through the services provided by the homestead website and all of its amazing features and benefits. it makes thing easy for you, its quick, and efficient.

I really like the pre-built website features that allow me to customize so many aspects of the website along with access to stock images that are exceptionally professional. The ability to access marketing tools also puts homestead above and beyond the rest.

A small issue that I've encountered using Homestead is that there is limited bandwidth which slows things down a bit. Additionally I haven't felt that there is enough storage. The starter pack also does not come with a domain.

I enjoy the add on services that have helped get my website noticed better, like the search engine optimization service feature with the added reporting which helps me track my data.

What I loved most about Homestead was the ease of use for building a website for my father's church when he first became a priest for that diocese. The church had absolutely no marketing and I was able to easily use Homestead to build a business website for the church with multiple pages.

The only thing I disliked about Homestead was that I wished I had more choices for templates and backgrounds and such. It worked for the most part but there were some times when I had trouble connecting to the servers.

If you're looking for a great site that is easy to use in order to market your company, church, or any organization, Homestead is the way to go!

So, with Homestead, I was able to show off our church and all of our activities at the time and our congregation grew in size by almost 70%.

I like the easyness to navigate through the site. You can pretty much go in there from the first time and determine what information you’ll need without much training or having to look back at manuals. Simple, easy and does the work!

Somewhat behind in terms of technology. Don’t get me wrong, Homestead is a platform that any start up should look into when on a tight budget. But when you have multiple clients with high-end technology and you have to migrate information it’s not the best up to date.

Cost. The price increases once/twice a year, but no known improvement for older accounts. Also, for photos outside the blog, there is no direct link capability. I cannot find an image by entering what should be the image url, which means using the alt text is even more important because adding a description in the url serves no purpose once uploaded.

Now is a good time to join. Building from scratch is no longer a requirement, it's an option. It now offers updated, mobile responsive templates.

For older, from scratch sites, there are no effective options to change to responsive automatically. But, I enjoy a challenge on occasion and coding. It allows me the freedom to add whatever I want.

The ability and flexibility to pick a design template based on the industry and customize it to suit my business needs.

Homestead is supposed to work as both an online and offline website builder but you can’t actually do anything unless you’re connected to the internet, which cancels out any advantages to this two-tiered approach. Also, homestead’s web-based tool, Site Builder Light, only provides a fraction of the tool’s functionality.

It helps to create customized and personalized web pages specific to my company and provides a low cost benefit in terms of price and ease of use in terms of publishing and maintaining my company's website.

One of my friend wanted me to create a website through Homestead website, I was able to build a cool website with very nice User Interface

I think Homestead can integrate more marketing tools so that customer can help his business grow rapidly.
