We’ve been using Holistics for a while now and overall, it’s been a great experience. We needed a BI platform that could handle drill-down analysis, offer a semantic layer for consistent metrics across different data sources, and give end-users more self-service capabilities. And so far, Holistics has checked all those boxes nicely.

What really stands out to me is the support. I’ve never had this kind of help from a BI vendor before. Most of the time, I get support from people who work on the product. They reply fast, they know what they’re doing, and they even suggest better ways of solving problems, or sometimes go ahead and fix things for me. That level of hands-on help is rare and super appreciated.

It's very easy to use, very intuitive. It has all the data visualizations that an organization might need, but it has the capability to let you create new visualizations via (xml- vega lite visualizations).

In some visualizations I would like to have a bit more of autonomy to run my own specific configurations. For instance: mark with colours the cells in a metric-sheet depending on conditions over the numbers.

It's our source of metrics, everybody in the organization checks there all the main company metrics but also their specific reports that they need to use in their daily tasks to understand facts and take next decisions.

Implementation is easy and customer support is great, it supports major databases. Also supports developing custom charts.

The tool is to use and how it meets all our needs. I havent come across any issues with it.

Snowflake has been a problem for us since it affects the integration and retrieval of data, from different sources.

Holistic Data Software provides a comprehensive overview of our business problems. It enables us to analyze and comprehend our data. This advantage has greatly enhanced our decision making process.

Cost of the product compared to other competing tools is very good value.

Their team are very friendly and love to work with their customers to improve their product.

I love the UI, it's very clean and easy to understand. Makes the job of checking on specific data a lot less cumbersome compared to competitors.

It isn't compatible with all of the internal databases that we use.

It helps make accessing data and keeping track of analytics easy and painless.

It's been pretty easy to get acquainted with it, as I haven't used this type of platform before.

I reckon with some time spent on training, if the platform produces its own learning resources, I'll be super-confident with it.

My only quibbles are around finding it difficult to customise existing datasets and visualisations, and our team finds it very slow - we'll be stuck at 99% progress for minutes on end frequently.

We can now pinpoint specific data from various sources, such as a phone number entered into our webforms, and have it pulled from the metadata without manual effort.

It's ease of use. Every user on the company loves the product, and the empowerment of getting results quickly. Setup and visualization options are good, a good fit for a startup.

Holistics works very slowly with Snowflake. I've been told that it's not easy to solve, but it's quite irritating for new users, or those that has to deal with it too many hours each day.

Simple to use and easy to get results from.

Exposing data that we have centralized on Snowflake, and processed with DBT. That final data should be easy to use by technical and non-technical teams all over the company.
