The data shown in various graphs and charts.
Sometimes the length of various reports is a bit overwhelming. Also I wish there was an easier way to save a clients risk tolerance results individually vs downloading a report and extracting the two pages.
To many to list. Essentially every performance based question can be answered with HL.
I find the risk profile comparison the most helpful feature. I like how HL puts a green box around the risk/return parameters that have the best numbers out of the portfolios that are being compared and contrasted. I like how they offer a menu of stress-tests ranging from pandemic shutdown to election uncertainty or S&P 500 decline of 20%.
I wish the risk score numbers corresponded with other risk software such as Finemetrica and Riskalyze.
HL is helpful to show prospective and existing clients the risks they are taking with their self-managed investments. Understanding potential outcomes (both downside and upside) can lead to peace of mind and sometimes to action to rebalance to a more risk-appropriate portfolio.
many things: Stress Test Summary, portfolio statistics.
sometimes I would get inaccurate data that needs to adjusted.
The best proposal tool that I have seen over the 20 years.
most of the time is comparing current holding vs recommended. the process is very easy and most important it easy to understand for the client.
Upside/Downside arrows that show risk in allocations.
sometimes it seems the results contradict itself with correlation and beta.
Showing clients that they can take less risk and out perform over time. Signing clients once they realize their current portfolios have more risk than they realized.
I like the planning features available, as well as the risk assessment breakdown.
The only real downfall I find to the software is the risk score is shown as a downside percentage and not just a full number.
HiddenLevers should meet most of your needs, from creating a financial plan to risk management, it's got it covered.
We mainly use hidden levers to keep in compliance, we use it to make sure our clients portfolios are within the necessary risk category.
quantifying of risk is very helpful to show clients
can be tricky to navigate at times when editing portfolios
learn how it can be implemented into your business
typically looking at portfolio management ideas and risk
Ease of use. Once you set it up, it runs itself so i just have to review the results and make any changes i think are necessary.
Nothing really. Maybe a little less expensive?
What my clients' portfolio are sensitive to and how they'll react should one of these events occur.
The layout of the client presentations and the response time by the team in the "chat" feature when a question comes up
Would be helpful to build in private strategies
HL has helped asses the risk in a clients portfolio but also shows the clients in an easily digestible way what that risk means which can sometimes really show what a clients "true" risk tolerance is.
The relevancy of outcomes for each scenario is what investors are really thinking about. If a client has real concerns over a specific event that could effect them from achieving their goals, we can see how each underlying investment would react, then at the account level, then at the entire portfolio level.
Individual fixed income investments are not as accurate as stocks, ETFs, or mutual funds. It can be difficult to determine the best mix of scenario outcomes aligned with probably of them happening for Compliance to be in agreement as well.
We're solving the problem of clients thinking they only need income from their portfolio and showing how that isn't the best strategy long-term. We're benefiting by having deeper conversations with clients about their personal market worries.
