Hidden App is a great product that does at lot of good things. We love the tracking aspect and the occasional time that we need to use the key logger for those problem issues. Also the support is top notch. If you have a question they are fast to answer and follow up to make sure everything is working correctly

I havent found anything that I dont like about it well other than more people should have it to help get assets back especially in this work from home environment we are now in.

Before Hidden App we would send messages to people and hope that we got an asset back. Now with Hidden App I am able to lock the computer down display a message on the machine that ensures that if the person tries to do anything with the system they know they are being tracked and we are watching. Our return of assets has already gone up 70% in just the little time we have started using Hidden App

The product is easy to use and easy to deply.

My only real complaint is the software will not update it's self at the end user.

Software is only used to track or wipe lost computers.

Easy to track lost computers once they are powered on and connected to a network. The screenshot feature is nice to understand the their.

Sometimes it is hard to keep all computers up to date with latest HiddenApp Software. It would be great if there was an automatic updater.

I can track computers if they are stolen. I was able to recover one computer when several were stolen a few years ago. It is also nice to be able to use downloaded information to submit to authorities so they can track down computers.

Managing all the Mac computers in one place.

Nothing special. It just does a job. That's it.

We are managing a small fleet of Mac computers within our Agency. The main problem is to get a certain level of security considering the remote way of work.

This software is easy to install locally and computer in the field already.

The only thing that I am used to and not a current feature is the ability to see where a computer is geographically without setting the computet to missing first.

This is a real 'turn key' solution for our environment. HiddenApp has really come to the rescue after the previous company we used no longer supported thier product.

We currently have a lot of computer in the field already assigend to students in a online school. Since the previous security software is no longer working HiddenApp has really stepped in and filled that gap. They have gon above and beyond assisting us in getting our assets secured again.

HiddenApp gives you total peace of mind knowing that your expensive Apple products are fully protected should they go missing. The software operates at a completely different higher level compared to Apple's "Find My" app. I can wholeheartedly recommend HiddenApp to any Apple users. It's worth the money especially if your office runs the majority of its IT on Apple products.

Initially giving the app permission to use the cameras and microphones and ensuring that the app works properly in the background on the various Apple devices but once that's done, it's plain sailing using the app.

Tracking down any MacBooks, iPads and iPhones that end up not being with the employee they should be. With Apple products commanding a premium price, it provides "insurance" to getting your products returned should they go missing.

The number of features available and the website's simplicity is a plus. Integrating with JAMF Pro to add devices makes it so much better, seamless and timesaving.

I prefer to set the number of devices shown on the site to 100 or more instead of defaulting it to 20 every time I click a link or refresh the page. Need an additional option to send an alert to the missing device, like how Find My iPad does it.

The "device missing" mode works very well. It has proven to be invaluable when our device goes missing. This has helped us successfully locate devices countless times.

HiddenApps give us peace of mind that our equipment is protected.

I know it's a limitation of the Mac OS, but system permissions are a bit of a hassle during installation

As a company with nearly 100% laptop usage, HiddenApp securely protects against any accidental loss or stolen equipment.

The app works just fine for tracking devices and is, as the name makes clear, hidden for the users. Geotracking and network information works fine. Also, the application is lightweight.

I do not see any big downside to the application and it delivers what is supposed to.

I really like that I can track the location of our Macs (and possibly Windows PCs in the future). One particular feature I also like is having the "Fleet View" to view all of our tracked devices on a map. In addition, we are able to get screenshots and webcam pics as well.

This is not HiddenApp's fault, but because of macOS's strict privacy and security restrictions, I would have to manually approve HiddenApp's access to certain privacy and security settings, like location tracking, webcam access (for webcam pics), and screen recording (for screenshots). I would prefer for this to happen automatically during installation, but this might be possible with an MDM.

Also, I know that HiddenApp provides a way to lock the screen so that an unauthorized user is not able to access the computer without a password from us (the college IT staff), but through my testing, I'm able to circumvent that (if you're tech savvy enough). I'm hoping HiddenApp can take care of this so that all types of unauthorized users are not able to circumvent this.

Finally, HiddenApp does have key-logging to track keystrokes, but during my testing, it seems like it might not work properly, even with input monitoring approved on the Mac. I'm hoping this could be resolved in future updates.

I would definitely consider HiddenApp if you would like to keep track of your Mac computers. Now that it supports Windows PCs, you can keep track of them with just one solution. Note that for Mac computers, you will have to adjust privacy and security settings in order for HiddenApp to work properly.

HiddenApp helps us keep track of our Macs (particularly Mac laptops) so that we can possibly retrieve them back in the event they are lost or stolen. In addition to tracking our Macs, we are also able to see location history so that we can go back to where it was previously. Because we can also take screenshots and webcam pics, this can possibly help us identify who has a particular Mac in the event it was stolen.
