No shortcomings at this point. Explaining AI to customers and educating them can sometimes be difficult.

Grooper was very easy to learn.
What do you like best about Grooper?
Grooper was very easy to learn and is easy to navigate. The scan time is very quick and of great print quality.
What do you dislike about Grooper?
I find the processing time to be slow. For me, it would be much more effective if the application didn't split my scan into separate invoice payments. If I scan several pages together, I intend for it to be in 1 invoice payment.

Grooper provides us with an electronic backup of documents.

What do you like best about Grooper?
Grouper has saved hundreds of man-hours in reviewing documents because of its ability to extract the information sought with a couple of clicks

Grooper was most effective with typed data. Improvement needed with hand written data.

Scanning made simple!
What do you like best about Grooper?
Grooper is very user friendly. I like the simple and quick processes through the batches, and I like the fact it reads the cover sheets, and I don't have to key which file to put the scan to for each scan. Being a law office, we have used several platforms for scanning, and Grooper, by far, has been my favorite.
What do you dislike about Grooper?
The only complaint I have about Grooper is that on larger scans, it sometimes gets hung up between processes, and I have to pause the scan and restart it, and sometimes it works, and sometimes I have to delete the batch and start over.
What problems is Grooper solving and how is that benefiting you?
Because it is simple and quick and we are a busy office, it helps with time management in our office with being a digital office.

Very efficient platform with tons of possibilities. Their service team is very knowledgeable and shares their knowledge. Reasonable pricing compared to competitors.
What do you dislike about Grooper?
The platform is very technical, and complex. Training is required to get comfortable, their support staff offers quality insight and support to ensure you get comfortable using the software.
What problems is Grooper solving and how is that benefiting you?
We automate the extraction of metadata from documents, and then use this data for multiple uses (archiving, automated workflows) We managed to reallocate employees to more value-added tasks by automating most of their job.

Grooper has been able to handle internal use cases requiring document management and OCR technology.
What do you like best about Grooper?
There is a lot of flexibility and customization within the tool to allow for various use cases, not just an OCR tool.
What do you dislike about Grooper?
If you would like to stay current with software or take advantage of new functionality, the upgrades require reviewing and regression testing of current projects.
What problems is Grooper solving and how is that benefiting you?
The use cases we use Grooper for are document parsing/separation and OCR. By using this tool, we can create interfaces that eliminate manual data entry.

Amazing Learning Tool and Great Support
What do you like best about Grooper?
It is versatile and allows you to make adjustments in order to pull the best data. Love the fact that support is readily available and appreciates you bringing even the smallest details to their attention.
What do you dislike about Grooper?
UI could be a little bit friendlier (i.e. Dark mode, better Highlight for selections, etc.)
