What do you like best about Google VPC Service Controls?

VPC Service Controls prevents data theft, accidental data loss, and excessive access to data stored in Google Cloud multi-tenant services. We can implement technical security control in GCP using this tool on different GCP projects and service groupings.

VPC Service Controls only restrict access to Google APIs.

Not very much to dislike about this, the documentation could be a bit more graphical to ease the understandings.

We try to reproduce our on-prem setup over cloud to test and deploy customer like scenarios and test. It was beneficial as it gave a way to better testing.

Vpc service controls protects against theft of ouatg creds or SA credentials. It is easy to setup and seperating subnets. Good Access setup for authorized utilisation.

What do you dislike about Google VPC Service Controls?

Sometimes misconfigurations leads to malicious attacks. By default scanner option.

Cheap and faster during deployment. Helped save cost for customers. Scalability across region and zones The best tool to mitigate security controls.

What do you like best about Google VPC Service Controls?

VPC is in cloud network security which helps to restrict access to the resource. VPC UI is very simple and easy to manage components in this tool. It is easy to maintain a VPN across boundaries.

What do you dislike about Google VPC Service Controls?

There are some limits on the VPC network. nothing to dislike here as it overcomes almost all issues that another cloud provider has. Google always provides something that has better UI and google did n't let us down this time too.

Creating VPC in gcp cloud is fairly simple and gives you lot of scaling options across google 25 region and 75 zones all around the globe.
