As with seemingly every Google product, Google Cloud Filestore is an excellent tool, and a contender with all the other big-name software companies and products. I've been using Google's cloud for storage for years now, and am not disappointed. I love how I'm able to access my files on any computer and phone that I've logged into, and security is setup, granting permissions to individuals for sharing or denying access. Everything works seemlessly with a very intuitive interface.

There's little I dislike about Google Cloud Filestore, but if I was to pick something, it's the cost. If you do want it for your company, in any of a large way, you'll have to pay. It's not free like many of other Google products. But, at least you know you're getting quality.

Overall, I love using Google Cloud Filestore. It just simply works, and is not buggy. I've been able to share files effortlessly, and control the permissions. Great product.

The most helpful aspect about Google cloud Filestore is how easy it is to use and guide yourself through possible issues.

What I dislike about the Google Cloud Filestore is how sometimes you hit hiccups in your path that it takes too long to fix which is annoying when you have things to do with it and don’t want to wait.

There is an easy to interface NAS and very little downtime.

It is Google, so I am intrinsically nervous about the use of personal information.

Make sure that you have a second cloud storage backup, just in case.

No problems. At times there have been request denials out of nowhere, but with further attempts to interface and upload it works fine.

The quick uploads and cloud storage, not taking space on my phone.

The only thing I really dislike is that I have to pay for upper level storage.

I think that it can be organized a little bit better. I found it sometimes difficult to find where my files were due to the way google cloud is formatted.

Being a college student and having many files, this was the best way to store my files without having to use my own space on my laptop. It was also easily accessible.

The syncing is immediate, the ease of use is right away.

I don't care as much for the graphical interface of Google Cloud, but it is a minor dislike.

Google Cloud Fileshare has been a wonderful product for informatics projects where normal file-share and cloud services are restrictive and incompatible with large data sets. Although I have not used other high-quality cloud services on the market, Google Cloud offers very reasonable and competitive pricing.

We are using Google Cloud to store big-data projects such as RNA-seq and genomic sequencing data, which can be difficult to use without a high performance cloud.
