Incredibly Simple, Free 2FA with Cloud Backup
What do you like best about Google Authenticator?
It’s incredibly simple, easy to use, and 100% free. You just scan a QR code, and it sets up 2FA and generates a 6-digit code so you can log in safely. It’s also backed up to the cloud, so if you break or lose your phone, your codes are still saved securely to your Google account.
What do you dislike about Google Authenticator?
It’s very basic. If you add a lot of different accounts, there’s no way to organize them into folders or categories. Instead, you’re stuck scrolling through one long list to find the code you’re looking for.
What problems is Google Authenticator solving and how is that benefiting you?
It adds an extra layer of identity verification, helping to secure logins against unauthorized access. As a free option for basic access management, it helps ensure secure access to platforms.

Fast and Effective Security Layer
What do you like best about Google Authenticator?
I use Google Authenticator for signing into everything because it adds an extra layer of security. I like that it's fast (very fast) and easy to use/look at. I also appreciate the add-ons for multiple accounts and its integration with a wide variety of online authenticators. It's good that I can open a device for work or my personal device for other things, and a different app all works with the same authenticator. The initial setup is very easy at least for a single ID, just log in and it boots up fine.
What do you dislike about Google Authenticator?
The account recovery process can definitely be improved. When I got a new phone, setting up all accounts was a hassle instead of having them all be able to link to a single account.
What problems is Google Authenticator solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Google Authenticator for signing into everything, adding an extra layer of security. It protects my accounts, is very fast, easy to use, and supports multiple accounts, integrating with many online services.

Effortless Security with Google Authenticator
What do you like best about Google Authenticator?
I use Google Authenticator to secure my online accounts with two-factor authentication, and I like that it gives me an extra layer of protection beyond just passwords by generating verification codes directly on my phone. It's simple to set up, and I appreciate its offline functionality as it allows me to access verification codes while traveling in areas with poor network connectivity. The app is lightweight and doesn't take much space on my mobile, and its ease of use makes the authentication process quick and stress-free. I also like that it solves the problem of relying on SMS OTPs, which can sometimes be delayed or insecure. The initial setup was very straightforward; most services provide a QR code that I could scan directly using Google Authenticator, and the account was added within seconds. The app's interface is clean and easy to understand, making setting up multiple accounts quick and hassle-free.
What do you dislike about Google Authenticator?
Currently there is nothing
What problems is Google Authenticator solving and how is that benefiting you?

Effortless 2FA with Unmatched Security
What do you like best about Google Authenticator?
I like how Google Authenticator uses a simple 6-digit code that refreshes every minute to safely sign in. It makes securing sign-ins into admin and profile dashboards more straightforward and mitigates the risk of bot attacks and fraud. The initial setup was quite easy, just a plugin integration without major setup required.
What do you dislike about Google Authenticator?
I feel like Google Authenticator could be improved by adding easy authentication features like tap and approve, or facial recognition.
What problems is Google Authenticator solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Google Authenticator for secure sign-ins to mitigate the risk of bot attacks and fraud.

Does what is needed
What do you like best about Google Authenticator?
It’s a fairly simple piece of software with basic functionality. It does what it’s supposed to do, which is nice. I also like that it removes the headache of having to look for separate 2FA methods for my passwords, since it’s integrated into Google’s services and it’s free. On top of that, they’ve added cloud storage, which is a nice extra.
What do you dislike about Google Authenticator?
The main issues, in my opinion, are that anyone who has your phone also has access to your codes, and that if your Google account gets compromised, it makes the authenticator essentially pointless. Another thing I find really annoying is that I always need to have my phone with me, and that’s simply not the case for me very often.
What problems is Google Authenticator solving and how is that benefiting you?
It’s a time-tested security software, which gives credibility to its performance, and that’s the most important thing for me. I often have sensitive information to protect, and I appreciate that it doesn’t require signing in, which makes it especially helpful. It has no frills and is simple to use as well. Another crucial factor is how easy it is to get started, since its connected to google Simple, Free, Seamlessly Integrated 2FA.

Strong, Simple 2FA Security with Time-Based Codes
What do you like best about Google Authenticator?
What I like most about Google Authenticator is its strong yet simple approach to security through two-factor authentication (2FA). It generates time-based one-time passwords (TOTP) that change every few seconds, adding an extra layer of protection beyond just passwords.
What do you dislike about Google Authenticator?
One of the main drawbacks of Google Authenticator is the limited recovery and backup options, which can make account recovery difficult if a user loses their device.
What problems is Google Authenticator solving and how is that benefiting you?
Google Authenticator solves the major problem of weak password-only security. Passwords alone can be easily compromised through phishing or brute-force attacks. By adding two-factor authentication, it ensures that even if a password is stolen, unauthorized access is still prevented.

Seamless Integrations and Easy Login Sync Across Devices—Plus It’s Free
What do you like best about Google Authenticator?
It works seamlessly and integrates well with so many solutions. I also like that it can save my profile to a Google account, so I’m able to retrieve my logins from a different device. It performs well and does not require alot of resources to run. Google provides great support when needed
What do you dislike about Google Authenticator?
The solution does not cost money. It has an easy to use UI. The downside is the lack of AI / Inteligence integrated to it
What problems is Google Authenticator solving and how is that benefiting you?
It addresses our previous inability to generate and safeguard MFA keys for authenticating in our systems.
