The best thing about Glasswire is that it is very easy to use and it has more user-friendly interfaces. So we can monitor our network usage by just looking at the "Graph" or "Usage Details" interface. In the free version, we can monitor our data usage in the last 5 minutes, 3 hours, or 24 hours.

Nothing special. Actually, I'm very satisfied with GassWire.

So basically, I use GlassWire to monitor my network usage. I have limited internet connection. So I need to manage my data package for the entire month. By using GlassWire, I can get an overall idea about which apps on my laptop use more data and, according to that, adjust their usage.

The break down of the network activity is one of the best that I've seen from other network activity scanners. Not only does it help you see what programs are pulling from the network but also how much. Being able to turn off and on specific programs is a real help when troubleshooting. Since this is available for multiple devices and OS's you can keep track of your digital footprint as it were. Whenever anything is behaving questionably there is even the feature to have that program analyzed for any virus or malware definitions.

The most helpful aspect that I have found is being notified whenever a new service starts using the network. If you haven't added any new programs and something starts to connect you know something is up. An upside is that everything is all in one place and easy to get to.

The pay-per-month income setup is not a favorite of mine. As these programs are great for what they can do by keeping you on such a program it will inevitably become a problem for some as it cannot fully take over for an antivirus. If using with another antivirus it would yield some serious protections against intruders into your system. But on the other hand if you could only choose one many would opt for the antivirus protections since this has no real time scanner.

If you have knowledge of networks and what a more detailed breakdown of your activity then GlassWire is where to look.

Fast, easy installation, excellent user interface - put simply, it just works! The user-friendly interface is excellent for both skilled and non-skilled users to learn the state of the desktop internet connections. It keeps us constantly updated with any necessary alerts and goes a long way for peace of mind. Glasswire is much more configurable than those regular standalone firewalls; it lets you blacklist connections specific to your own work environment. GlassWire enables to keep track of our mobile carrier data usage and Wi-Fi Internet activity which is great when our team are working remotely. I would not hesitate to recommend this product to both smaller businesses, teams and personal users.

I am very satisfied with this product and have no dislikes at this time. We haven't needed to contact the support team yet so cannot review that part of the service.

It's a no-brainer purchase for personal or small team firewall protection but if you are hesitant to buy - you can always trial it and then upgrade to the paid version, it's an excellent protective and diagnostic tool - though it shouls be remembered that this is only one tool in the toolkit necessary for protecting our work environment nowadays. For large scale corporate use you should check alternative offerings for comparison before deciding to purchase this.

We're using GlassWire to monitor and control program access to the Internet, saving on bandwidth and enhancing desktop security. We can easily filter desktop and mobile web traffic.

There's so much to love about this software. I love how I can easily check what software is connecting to the internet, how much data they are using and how it breaks down between local and external traffic. I can even view the hostnames to which each application is connecting to.

Nothing really. Maybe the constant popups to upgrade to a paid package on the free version. I didn't have much trouble setting up Glasswire but i feel that i may be missing out on all it's benefits because of lack of some sort of tutorial or on-boarding process in terms of how to use the software.

A wonderful software especially considering that it's free. Gladly paid for the Elite licence for more features

I use Glasswire to monitor traffic on my PC and Android phone. I also use it to monitor about 10 computers connected on a network at work. It's proven to be a great time saver.

It is very easy to install and configure.

Some of the alerts are false positives that need to be investigated.

It is an excellent third-party firewall solution that gives you an extra layer of security so that your workstation is not low-hanging fruit for the bad actors.

I am enabled to track and block unwanted hosts services trying to connect to my workstation.

When I first downloaded Glasswire I didn't know what to expect. It was still very young and nothing like it had been developed to my knowledge. However, over the years I have installed it as one of my first applications on my systems.

Glasswire offers so many amazing features. The paid upgrade and the "Ask to Connect" feature, it is a god sent and must have. Being able to see usage on metered connections is grand. The ability to see which devices are connecting to your network instantly is also amazing. It also alerts you to software upgrading, internet outages, and so so much more.

Incognito. That's the best way to describe this software. In a nice way. Reliable, light and fully effective. You hardly notice it's there. The bad guys don't notice it either until it's too late.

Love it. Don't loathe it. Nothing about it.

Glasswire allows me to see exactly what is accessing the web from my computer. I can even set Glasswire to block a connection if I think it has malicious intent.

Not really anything. It does everything it advertises it does. It does not fulfill the need of an antivirus though, but that is not a huge issue.

Bandwidth slowdowns, strange connections, blocking P2P connections, and many others.

I like that it shows network traffic for different apps - you can see when an app is sending data or receiving data if you are trying to work out a bandwidth usage problem. The display and readings are very intuitive. Quick and easy setup.

Firewall is now a premium feature - that's a shame.

This is good for in-house IT Support Staff or Freelance IT Consultants to trouble shoot network problems for speed issues and data leakage.

Glasswire gives me real-time information about everything that is going on with my computer. The firewall function is extremely useful and allows greater control over access to my system. Creating the ability to monitor usage graphically allows users the flexibility to discontinue programs that are non-essential. Real-time alerts let me know if I need to take action regarding a connection that might be harmful. All in all Glasswire is an essential part of my ongoing systems usage.

So far I haven't found anything that I dislike about Glasswire It doesn't take up much room on my system and operates smoothly in the background until needed.

I highly recommend Glasswire for all your system needs.

Potentially dangerous internet activity. The alert system has benefitted me greatly. It allows me to ascertain whether or not to continue with a connection or disconnect as a matter of security. It also has shown me programs that I can discontinue to allow better usage of my system memory.
