Fusion has the ability to give the sense it understands what you are trying to accomplish in many aspects and operations of the program, it is by far the most inuitive feeling software I have ever worked with.

This is true at all level of use in my opinon, from beginners to experts. I have yet to train anyone who did not enjoy working with Fusion over previous softwares, that is quite an accomplishment...

Lack of colour recognition options in toolpaths & templates, lack of lathe tooling options for simulation and tool holding, inability to select which bodies are joined during an extrude the way you can select what is being cut in an extrude

Easy implementation of 3d toolpath on 3-axis machines that were not possible with previous software

I am able to design quickly and efficently using Fusion and then create a solid post to run on 3-5 axis machines. For the price point it is tough to beat. You can learn a lot thru their online forums and chats easly.

Sometimes it can be a bit slow generating complex tool paths

Fusion is easy to use an very capapble to even do very complex machinining operation. Fusion makes it really easy to find support online, there is a big community that offers help. I use it daily to support small to medium machine shops that find it really easy to drive their 3,4 and 5 axis machines, but also their Live tool lathes

Because of the many updates, there are time where you find yourself looking for a certain button

Fusion solves the problem where you need a seperate piece of software that is hard to use to do CNC machining

Knowing those core elements from Lagoa Render engine is inside Fusion360, I wish a better material and light features in it. Perhaps a better way to save cameras, AOVs and things needed for a final image. I can get great results with its render, but it needs more care. It has the potential to be a better big player in the CAD render arena if Autodesk invests a little bit more.

Organize your project folders properly and make sure you name each version correctly; otherwise, it will be impossible to track the past once you have hundreds of projects in and no one else will understand your workflow.

Fusion came to me initially as a tool to solve some furniture design problems I was having and it turned out to be great! I was amazed by how simple it is with a minimal learning curve. Autodesk and the Fusion360 team are always doing a great job producing tutorials and walk troughs that are truly insightful.

First, it is free for personal use. Second, it is easy to use. If you are only building simple objects / models then it is not that difficult to learn. I've seen lots of advanced users who build complex models and looks so easy when they are the one creating the design. Third, you can see lots of helpful information online when you need help on how to do things.

The only downside I can think of is you need to spend lots of time to fully enjoy all the features of Fusion 360. This is a powerful tool so you need to learn the techniques and proper features when building complex models.

I can build my own objects that I cannot find in stores. Or build and 3D print an object that is too expensive to buy. Sometimes I just want to first test an idea if it will work, so I will design the model and then 3D print the object.

Great for every type of project, works without internet and is free to use (hobby use)

No dark mode, can generate lot's of errors, but if you are experienced, it's eay to fix them

When I need to make a project, I know where to go.

Once you get over the barrier of learning it, it's a great program

I am very interested in 3D modeling and printing, and after trying two or three different software and almost giving up on trying to learn, I found Fusion 360. It saved my life because I found it very easy to understand, and the online learning platform is very helpful. I have learned a lot, and now I feel comfortable using it.

I can not find something I dislike about Fusion 360, which is a robust software that covers many features for modeling and machining. I have a long way to keep learning it, and at the point I am now, I have nothing I dislike.

If you are using Fusion 360 for the very first time and with no previous knowledge like me, I highly recommend watching video tutorials and completing Autodesk Academy classes to understand its features and working spaces better.

I am a high school teacher, and one of my subjects is digital fabrication. I introduced my students to this fantastic software during the course, and after a couple of trial and error processes, they can design and print 3D models and use their designs to laser cut.

This is one of the best tools you can see in market for modelling, designing, rendering and manufacturing industrial products. This also enhances the model to be more accurate due to it's easy accessibility.

It is less interactive than other tools in the market. Other than that this is a very good tool for the purpose it serves.

I used this product for most of my project work in college. Once my project product was not working fine in 3D printing and I used Fusion later to solve the issue and the project was a success at that time.
