FrontendMaster provide a lot of courses around web development and the subjects varies from beginer level, to expert. If you're not sure where to start, different path are provided in order to acquire experiece.

Even if all of courses are solid value, I particulary liked the Will Sentance's courses, around Javascript.

The subjects are easy to follow, github code is provided in most cases, if you ever get lost.

The customer support is really great. I've got response to my every question. I've been using this courses for 5 months, and I've been enjoying every one of them.

Quality of the videos and the material being taught in each course is some of the best that I've ever seen. The format of each course is usually very well organized and the subject matter experts provide incredible examples.

I wish that there was some form of self-learning project section similar to code rafters.

The courses have already helped me learn the basics of typescript, react, vim, and git. Although I was already familiar with most of these things, they gave me more tips and tricks that I could use during my daily work.

All the courses I took on Frontend Masters had exceptional instructors who demonstrated a deep understanding of the subjects they were teaching.

I think it's pretty stragithforward and I don't miss anything. The only thing I care is the content.

But the way the courses are organized could be better. The search bar can show a lot of content and maybe hide something that you're looking for.

They are sharing deep knowledge even at the basics, what helps anyone studying a new thing or just refreshing old things.

Frontend Masters teaches you how the web works, not just how to brute force or get something you built to work. There is a lot of ambiguous material online about web development, but so little of it feels really curated to teach people how to reason and troubleshoot with the tools of the trade. Even less of what is out there really tries to establish best practices in the context of the industry status quo. Frontend masters courses carry the weight that advice from senior ior staff dev mentors would, if you are so lucky to have those. At the same time, the knowledge imparted in FEM courses feels really solid. It's far less subjective than code review tends to be, for example. It's such a good value.

The courses are extremely well organized into tracks, and the watch history tracking is just gamey enough to entice you to keep watching. I'm completely charmed by the green checks and I want to collect them on all the material in the catalog!

So far I like everything offered at FEM.

Unmatched quality content. Great trainers, great coverage of topics, focussed on front end.

There could be better plans for long term usage.

The way trainers explain things is awesome, feel really at home using frontend. The level of details covered is not seen anywhere else on any platform, there are course files/videos/slides and everything.

They tell you tools and how to use them.

It's perfect the way it is. But a full stack project from scratch to production will be a good thing . So that we get familiar with the industry standards and best methods in creating them
