Because Freemius covers so many areas, there is naturally a learning curve at the beginning. Some parts of the platform take time to fully understand, especially if you want to customize the customer experience or deeply integrate the SDK into an existing product.

I think the commission is a bit higher than other services. But at least there aren't any hidden costs between the lines.

Some year ago I was making WP Themes and selling with Themeforest but themeforest's reviewers starts review themes more faster and they doesn't review theme good they are rejecting soft hidden themes without say any discreption about rejecting reason and when you try upload again after some changes they blocking account! They are blocking too many account, They blocking big comanies whose sold more to $1 million dollar. My account is also blocked and when write to they for reopen my account Envato support team does not answear, I've lost my dream job make wp themes

I've been with Freemius for a few months now and I'm so glad I made the decision to switch from EDD. Everything just works with Freemius and I'm not having to spend a ton of developer resources fixing things.

I find freemius very easy to sell my WordPress Products.

Freemius offers many great features, but the main feature is handling subscriptions, billings, disputes, and taxes! Besides the main one, there are many little useful ones, such as abandonment cart emails and important integrations with 3rd-party services like Mailchimp.

Small teams can't build such a full infrastructure as Freemius offers.

The only thing I wish they had is some interactivity with active instances. For example, it would be great if I could have the ability to push some notices from the Freemius dashboard directly to the user's WordPress dashboards.
