What I like best about FortiGate SD-WAN is its native integration with security, application-aware traffic steering, and easy centralized management, all in a single, cost-effective platform.

What I dislike about FortiGate SD-WAN is that advanced configurations can be complex, the learning curve is steep for new users, and some features require higher licenses or FortiOS versions to fully utilize.

The thing that I like the most about this FortiGate feature it's that, it's very easy to understand for anyone with basic networking knowledge, easy to manage with a hand full of options on the interface gui, and a thon of options and settings on the cli as well.

I dislike, or would like this solution to be more cost friendly, for it's advanced features, like telemetry, automatization and detail reports, these type of features depending on the organization are very handy and useful, but they have additional license cost.

In the very much side, it helps a lot with the redundancy within the intenternal LAN and the wan-edge side of the whole network, segmentating the traffic for each internet service provider and putting policies for each service that I or the organization prioritazies their traffic for. Very useful and helping to have an easy way to load manage the bandwidth for various internet service providers and idolize them to the most efficient way possible for the organization.

Fortigate SD-WAN is very easy to use. Very easy implementation. Fortigate customer support is also very impressive which responds to your tickets quickly. We use it daily to observe our multiple wan utilisation.There are many features whic is better than other similar products i market. Fortigate-SD-WAN is very easier to integrate.

Licences or Subscription cost, Training to IT Staff,Bandwidth management and clarity of SD wan usage against the link.

Syncing policies sometimes takes time which you have to verify from Fortinet firewall as well.

Application Steering, ADVPN (Spoke to Spoke Communication) removes dependency on Hub for backhauling traffic, End to End Security with IPSEC tunnels between hub-spoke and spoke to spoke.

Managing thosand of users workload traffic most secured and providing valuble insights about security gaps and improving overall security posture of org.

Needs improvment in areas like , VLAN with quick connectivity options.

Nothing abput dislike things

This has comprehensive features, reliability, and user-friendly interface. This makes it very valuable. it has better application experience, very reliable.

Nothing as such. But i think initial setup is quite tough not for layman. it requires a technical expertise to be set up .Please make it easy to setup that would be useful.

In using MPLS , it is more reliable , fast compatible and it increases the performance. Very responsive customer support . It enable high speed LTE.
