The user interface seems a little Old. Nothing has changed in the nearly years that I have been using it.The Service appears to be unavailable rather frequently,though rarely for an extended period of time.
For fault tolerance, redundant data Centers .We Secure Our Customers data by focusing on Security,and we give them access to their accounts 24/7.
1. Ability to present end to end Custoner life cycle view across various channels to take data based decisions

3. I found infrastructure quite conducive to scale when we onboarded corporate clients over the platform
1. Initial cost of deployment was quite high which becomes difficult to richer funds during cost cutting stage of organisation
2. We did a vendor comparison and sone of the competitors were having more advanced tech and integration attempt is quite expensive as well
3.Team faces sone glitches at time of version upgrades
We used it as a retail core banking solution to capture customer data and maintain all the records. It also solved the problem of integration with Ra automation as our earlier system didn't have Proper API integration.
Reporting became much more streamlined as well after the implementation
Service Bureau based Core Banking that allows us to focus on banking and servicing our customers.
Intermittent outages of various applications availablility, sometimes out of the control of FIS due to connectivity, but getting much better with SDWAN technology
Redundant data centers for fault tolerance. Security focused to help protect our customers data, allow them 24/7/365 access to their accounts.
FIS is a good solution for smaller to mid-sized banks. It is very customizable and priced appropriately. I have worked with TellerInsight as well as IBS Insight.
The end-user experience feels a little outdated. I have been using it for almost ten years and nothing has changed or been improved upon. The service seems to be down quite a bit as well, but usually never for too long.
My department uses the daily transactions from FIS to feed into our customer monitoring program, BAM. The implementation of that was fairly smooth and the data feeds into BAM reliably every morning.
1) Core Banking processing is fully centralised, rolling out Bank's products to customers have been seamless.
2) Core products can be deployed into Bank's portfolio in a new planned way, product after product - Savings offerings, then followed by Fixed Deposits, and others.
1) API integration interface need to be better. Currently, not all functions are fully exposed through APIs
2) Modernization of earlier versions are time consuming and expensive
3) Lending function offerings are not standardised
4) Multi Currency account setup requires OOTB features
1) Seamless and sequential rollout of Core functions.
2) Centralised management of key Accounting and Customer migration process.
3) End to End customer setup and products mapping in mostly streamlined way.
4) Legacy core banking solution (custom developed) has been completely migrated
Ease of learning and using, multi functionality across departments, simple layout,
Visually outdated, limited searches that require specific information or new tabs, overly simple,
Allow each team to see what the system offers. Management may like one system from their standpoint but allowing those who use the software say in & day out will better tell how the product would work in their current environment.
We are able to effectively use the core system among our many different departments seamlessly. It helps communication and the simple layout provides quick information. This helps us be more efficient more so on the frontlines dealing with customers.
FIS is able to integrate with Salesforce
It's clunky, and doesn't always play nicely in integration.
It's our core banking system. We use it because it talks to our other systems.
