This program makes you to use your CNC machine efficiently. Codes are so sensitive. Using it is so easy. I wasn't even meet with any CAM programs before FeatureCAM and I learned so quickly. Interface is simple and brilliant.

Animations could be more softer. Nothing else.

I was very delightful when I used it. It's easy to learn and use. Don't hesitate to buy it. You can make sure that your machine's performance will improve after using this program.

Usual AutoDesk quality. One of the best for CNC Programming. Program created for new users we can say. If you're familiar with these programs. You can dance better. New users surely find many tutorials online. Program also uses very low % of CPU. That means your fan won't run like crazy. Also they has a dark theme option which is great for who has eye problems like me.

If you don't have a high-quality computer, animation won't be so fluent and smooth but don't worry even if you have, the difference is not so much.

You can't buy quality with less. So prepare to pay a little bit more than other programs. You will find everything in this program. Usual AutoDesk quality.

We learned SolidCAM at university and I just try to use FeatureCAM. In technical drawing lessons our teacher compares AutoCAD and SolidWorks always. So we decided to try this side of CAM program this time :) Only few projects.

AutoDesk's quality salutes us. Interface is simple, user friendly. Probably other programs can't reach this quality in next 10 years. Autodesk knows what user needs. You will put the part and use " Turn Properties ". You'll see your options so simply in opened window. I loved it.

Autodesk wants more again. You may need to upgrade your computer in next versions. ( You can't have the high quality cheap. )

If you're new, Autodesk will always help you. There are so many tutorials online. You will quick easily. Don't worry this product is very user friendly.

While viewing Autodesk products I would like to try it. I just simulated in my home but I saw how it works in a company near my house. But I didn't have a machine part from it. Form is temporary.

It's super user friendly as usual products for AutoDesk. You have so many different choice for bench. Which is awesome. Program is running fast and solid.

Don't hesitate to use it. It works fast and sharp. It's user friendly I liked it the most because when you try to learn a program it's one of the important thing. You can find so many guides online which is a huge plus and i will write it to my other Autodesk product's review.

Worked on some parts to 3

After drawing model in 3D we can run the steps continuously to see how a CNC machine cuts the stock to form a particular product. This way you can eliminate bottlenecks

You can’t import solidworks drawing to featurecam. I mean can’t import the design but you can mort the model.

Design and modeling fixtures and tools. So much easy to use. Also converts Models to G codes. Fantastic!! My company makes a lot of tool fabrication. I’m in manufacturing.

Simulating in 3D to allow you to verify and check the features collision.

I have found a bit downsides is the lack of "Deleting the Duplicates" feature comparing to SolidCAM or MasterCAM

Easy to use but I'm still recommend any new user to take a basic training course to build a solid foundation.

I like the quick bolt patterns of bolt circle, pocket and such in FeatureCAM as it save so much time to draw it.

For CNC programming, this is one of the best software one can recommend. The five axis simulation provided by this software is a major plus. The codes are sensitive and using this software is very easy.

There is no feature to dislike. Everything seems pretty good

All FeatureCAM models have same interface. It is fast, flexible and easy to use.

Menu Bar needs to be improve. Design is not well. Animation should be more fluent while doing 3D Milling.

There are so many guides to learn it. Easy to learn and use. You will find additional comments and directions for every operation.

The automatic speed / feed rate calculation for different materials and the process for creating stock is a pretty good feature . The software is also fast provided the user has experience using it . Overall , If you're doing the same type of parts over and over again I would say FeatureCAM is very good . The fact that it supports 5 axis simulation and multi turret operations is a definite plus . The software is pretty fast and even if it takes some time to get used to , the end result is worth it. A very user friendly software .

There are some softwares out there that can take complicated parts with multiple operations better than FeatureCAM . The integration of Solidworks with FeatureCAM isn't really that great as I dealt with problems with auto feature recognition . The simulation feature is also not upto the mark .

FeatureCAM is definitely a good software when it comes to ease of use, and please do explore the different features it provides the user with. The features like 5 axis simulations and multi turret operations is a plus point for this software, so please use that. Overall it's worth it looking at it from a business standpoint also from the usability point of view.

I haven't used this software for business problems yet, but this software has very good capabilities and using this for such purposes can save up on time.
