The interface is very well designed. It's uncluttered and very intuitive to navigate. I can always get to where I need to be or find the information I require without any problems. I use it for all aspects of wesite management: from researching and securing domains to hosting my own sites and those of my customers (I have just launched a website design business).

There are sometimes techincal questions or issues that I cant resolve myself. On these occasions I have found the support pages and email/messaging support to be very prompt and helpful.

I've not experienced any issues with server downtime so far and I've been with FastHosts for many years.

The interface for FTP works well but the design is rather basic, and the default font size may well be too small for some users.

The fasthost web hosting service is a great cost effective, easy to implement solution for my business. Easy to navigate and maintain, this reliable platform is feature packed and ideal for wordpress sites and themes. The customer support is second to non and we have integrated the email server into our standard mailer setup with ease. Backups are generated daily and we use the analytics frequently to measure the effectiveness of the product.

Changing the registrant of a domain seems a bit difficult to achieve at the moment. I had to do that a few weeks ago and was time consuming. The navigation through the admin portal is again not optimal.

Fasthosts allows you to register and DNS manage a wide range of domain names. They have been around for a very long while now which makes them one of the most recognised names in the market. They certainly know what they are doing. Their customer support is good and friendly. And they also provide other services, such as server hosting, and email services, to name but a few.

There was nothing to dislike about Fasthosts. We have no issues with their service at all.

Always check that your settings are correct. Fasthosts' technical support is always on hand to assist. It is always good to make use of these services as it can save a lot of frustration later on.

The special offers for .co.uk and .uk domains are very good. You can register the first year for just a pound but keep in mind that you will pay full price for the 2nd year.

Renewal prices could be more competitive. I also had a problem re: the payment of VAT which I could never sort out with their sales dept despite never coming across the issue with other UK registrars.

Cheap UK domain registration. Even with full price renewal if you divide by 2 then you are getting a good deal. They also offer the opportunity to register domains with numerous extensions in the hundreds.

I did have some challenges, with their sales department in resolving my payment VAT issue. The billing process is quite cumbersome. The support provided is inadequate. The user interface appears cluttered making it difficult to change the registrant of a domain quickly.

The initial cost of domain registration seems attractive the renewal prices are not as appealing. There are servers that provide better value, for money. Customer service sometimes be a source of frustration.

Fasthosts solves the problem of complexity and time consuming tasks. Phone calls tend to have long waiting times and issues are not solved promptly. Managing DNS elements is unnecessarily difficult.
