The software offers integration of growing operations and livestock operations; It has features for warehousing and planning. For functions, I need general accounting to track my costs and reports to see operational viability.

There is no POS ability for the app, and the program does not integrate with an accounting software capability; invoicing is separate from accounting

Whole farm management

I like that I can compare spending from one year to the next super easily. I also like that the pie chart shows you what percentage of your spending is in each area.

I have found that the search function doesn't work. Sometimes I have duplicate receipts and would like to check to see if I've already entered an item. The search option always comes up blank. I have to manually scroll through to find the date of the receipt to see if it was entered.

I use the accounting function every January. Farmbrite takes all of the anxiety out of tax season. I log hundreds of receipts into the program and take the summary to my accountant who files the Schedule F for me. If I was ever audited, this program would be a life saver.

Web based so I can access from any device. Easily upload images and make updates. Easy to use, expandable as my farm grows.

I am just a small hobby farmer so I currently use only the free version, and there is no mobile app capability on the free version.

2. Farmbrite scales to meet our growing needs - perfect for small, medium, and large independent farmers.

3. As a beekeeper, I am able to integrate most of my hive management into the "Livestock" section of Farmbrite. This allows me to quantify my crop and beekeeping end product; as well as track equipment and replacement colonies.

4. Customer service and regular product updates. The new mobile platform is very exciting for our operation.

I found Farmbrite very intuitive and easy-to-use. You can import a .csv to make things even easier, and making changes is very simple. It also has an entire accounting section to track assets and liabilities which is great! They offer a lot of options in terms of animals and breeds, and you can track (for cattle) the lineage, the buy/sell date, the buy/sell cost, and numerous other important factors. You can add vaccines and medication as well as pregnancy status. This is also available as an app so that our Ranch Manager can update it in the field. It also has a very clean and simple UI which makes it great to use, and in addition isn't overly complicated in terms of what it has you track. I did try another software that had far too many fields and choices which in the end made it overwhelming and not useful for me.

Not everything seems to update together so you need to remember that when you change something on a cow's record, you have to manually change it in the accounting portion as well. I do also wish that in some sections (for example, the breed section), they would allow you to add your own when you aren't finding the correct one. Nonetheless none of these were deal-breakers for me and this was far and away the best option.

If you are seeking a software that simply allows you to track your cattle and their related accounting, this program is great. If you are in the cattle selling business and need to track a lot more factors, there are other software options out there.

We are trying to track all of the cattle on a cattle ranch and understand our profit/loss in relation to the cattle. This program is an easy way of doing that, and I like that it isn't so complex that I'm tracking MORE than we actually need to know.

Easiest single software for tracking multiple farming functions. I love all its features.

Sometimes I find it difficult to move from one section to the other when entering animal information.

For a small farm owner, it is nice to have so many features incorporated in one package. I ha tried out this tool and it is the best that I would hig recommend.

Farmbrite has helped tremendously with our accounting. Tool is perfect for us. It has also been great fro tracking all of our animals.

This software has ability to have records of individual animals. Also as a livestock based farm, we use the notes to keep track of feed for different animals.

While using this software, I really can't think of anything negative to say. This program has made the bookkeeping portion of our ranching so easy.

Navigating sometimes becomes tiresome.It is also difficult to sort expenses efficiently. It takes a little bit work to get everything entered in.

it is an excellent tool for start up s and smaller farms ,though has potential to scale as i grow .has all the features that i was looking for also it has an easy to use interface and offer a great features to keep tracks of many different areas on my farm also it make my bookkeeping job simple,when tax time rolls around everything is en counted for and i simply can press the generate P and L button.

it can only add one transaction a time also once or twice i was not able to get on farmbrite site .it is not easy to sort livestock and cant export to excel .need a copy function for livestock also.
