I think the brokers reports were really useful. I like that feature the most in addition to the excel pugin for extraction of company financials .

Maybe the time it takes to get a rep, in comparison to Bloomberg i suppose.

Well I can create loads of different investment worlds so to speak. I can create multiple templates and automate them as well that has been really helpful.

I build a financial model for a Technology company in my organization with the help of Factset. Factset provides me a good estimates for the future fianancial year.

Factset is get platform for Finance professionals. I have been using FactSet from past 3-4 years and had a great experience. Its one of the best tool to get financial information on companies from any region of the world.

Its Plugin. They are best to use and it works great with Microsft Excel

From Factset its easy to get the future estimates of the companies based on different analyst research. The output was of high quality

I like the organization of the page - it makes it very easy to navigate. The one pagers for the deal information is what I use most often, and it is efficient to have the key items on a single page. I also like the calendar tab, because it helps me organize my week for the different calls that I want to listen in.

I believe FactSet has a new page layout coming out, and I have had the chance to look at it. Maybe it is because I am used to the old page, but I don't necessarily love the new layout. It also seems to run a bit slower, but that may be because it is in the testing phases. Sometimes, if you type a ticker for the deals, it will get stuck in the box, and it makes it hard to search for other deals outside that company.

I am utilitizing FactSet to find comparable deals and market information. As mentioned above, I save time by utilizing FactSet because the information is in one place and readily available.

I like how FactSet has both real time data and historic data on cash flows, P&L, etc. I also like how easy it is to access street research

I dislike how it is not very intuitive; I always must ask for help if I am doing something new.

I have created financial models to value companies and written basically company biographies.

Easy to use platform with amazing amount of databases

I don’t like how the tickers are set up. Sometimes it’s hard to find what I’m looking for.

Access to financial information, markets and news.

When providing research support for our corporate attorneys, FactSet is a huge help. It includes the SharkRepellent reports and activism data. It has the issuer credit ratings for airlines that we looked up recently. It has the closing prices for warrants which we can't find anywhere else easily with our current subscriptions.

I rely on FactSet's ability to chart stock prices. The downloadable documents are accurate and easy to use.

Sometimes, the screen shots have better visuals than the downloads. We noticed this with a company closing price with common stock and warrants on the NYSE on various dates.

Locating closing price for warrants and Shark Repellent data are 2 things I use FactSet for exclusively.
