The F5 hardware & software solid capability and processing the request and throughput is very fast compare other DNS devices

The price is too high compare other DNS devices in the market. Frequent release of software hard maintain up to the mark.

F5-DNS resolving our applications access users are spread across gloabal. F5-DNS giving very fast and robust access to users by using global traffic managmenet route capabilties.

SLB was required and this was achieved by F5-DNS The best DNS Solution in the market

.The global server load balancing with a lot of intelligence behind it is the best feature of F5-DNS

So far I havnt seen any issues with the solution other than the price which is quite expensive compared to other vendors

What do you like best about F5 Global Server Load Balancing (GSLB)?

The Intelligent DNS Resolution with an excellent iquery protocol technology to monitor the availability.

What do you dislike about F5 Global Server Load Balancing (GSLB)?

None as of now. I highly recommend it as being a web security engineer. GTM in a large enterprise is a bliss!

We have been using F5 GTM for a variety of use cases such as, Load Balancing Traffic Across DCs and Different Geo Locations, Managing our proxy servers through GTM to have uninterrupted Internet Access, Using GTM as Authoritative DNS for Internal Infrastructure as well.

What do you like best about F5 Global Server Load Balancing (GSLB)?

It is an industry standard. It takes care of all our needs in one box. We feel confident in the service it provides. It is easy to manage and makes sense in the setup and management console.

What do you dislike about F5 Global Server Load Balancing (GSLB)?

The only thing that may be a dislike is that it does take a good knowledge of the product to setup. It may not be very intuitive for first time users, and you may need some help with the initial setup.

What problems is F5 Global Server Load Balancing (GSLB) solving and how is that benefiting you?

We needed help setting up and adding some protection for internal resources to be accessible to the outside. We needed a product that could handle some of our more particular older products.
