What do you like best about Eventbrite?As an Event Operations Manager for a medium-sized company, my team relies heavily on Eventbrite to handle the end-to-end logistics of our corporate events. We host a wide variety of gatherings throughout the year, ranging from intimate VIP networking dinners with 50 guests to multi-day industry seminars and trade shows with over 800 attendees. We use the platform to build custom registration pages, manage different ticket tiers like early-bird pricing and student discounts, and securely process all incoming payments. Furthermore, we connect Eventbrite to our internal CRM and email marketing software to track attendee data and run targeted promotional campaigns. I appreciate most about Eventbrite is how much heavy lifting it does on the marketing and visibility front. Because the platform has such strong domain authority and its own massive user base, our events consistently rank high on search engines, and we actually get a solid percentage of organic ticket sales from people just browsing the local event directory. From an operational standpoint, setting up a new event is incredibly intuitive. Even staff members who are not tech-savvy can build a professional registration page in less than an hour. However, the absolute standout feature for my on-ground team is the Eventbrite Organizer mobile app. Managing check-ins used to be a highly stressful bottleneck, but the app turns our regular smartphones into rapid QR code scanners. It even works flawlessly in hotel ballrooms where the Wi-Fi is notoriously spotty, allowing us to keep the entry lines moving smoothly and giving attendees a fantastic first impression.What do you dislike about Eventbrite?Despite its strengths, there are some significant drawbacks that constantly frustrate our accounting and marketing teams. The most glaring issue is the pricing structure. The ticketing fees and processing charges are exceptionally steep compared to alternatives on the market, and Eventbrite recently introduced subscription tiers for organizers who host larger or more frequent events, which feels like we are paying twice. We usually have to pass these extra fees onto the attendees, which often leads to complaints at the checkout page. Another major operational headache is their payout schedule. Eventbrite holds onto the ticket revenue until days after the event has actually concluded. When you are managing a medium-sized event and need to pay upfront costs for expensive venue rentals, audio-visual equipment, and catering, not having access to your own ticket sales creates severe cash flow issues. Lastly, the page customization is extremely limited; you cannot fully white-label the event page to match our corporate branding, so it always feels like you are borrowing their space rather than hosting your own.What problems is Eventbrite solving and how is that benefiting you?Before we fully transitioned to Eventbrite, our registration process was a disorganized mess of Google Forms, manual bank transfers, and messy Excel spreadsheets. It was a logistical nightmare that led to lost RSVPs, spelling errors on badges, and hours wasted on manual data entry. Eventbrite solved this by consolidating the entire attendee lifecycle into one reliable dashboard. A real-life example of this impact happened during our largest annual summit last year. In the past, handling on-site walk-ins and last-minute ticket transfers meant stepping away from the floor to manually update a master laptop. With Eventbrite, my staff could instantly sell tickets, process credit cards, and issue refunds right from their phones at the front desk. It completely eliminated the chaos of day-of-event management. Additionally, the real-time reporting features have allowed us to track exactly which email campaigns are converting into sales, helping us cut wasted marketing spend and focus entirely on what actually drives attendance.

What do you like best about Eventbrite?I am interested in concerts and concert tours all across the USA, paying particular attention to Denver, CO, Baltimore, DC, Tampa Bay, and Charlotte, NC. Eventbrite is constantly sending me emails with news of the latest concert tours, bands, and artists. Getting these emails gives me a better chance of getting a good seat at a show I want to go to.What do you dislike about Eventbrite?I honestly cannot think of a dislike that I have with Eventbrite, as it does not spam me and alerts me to concerts much faster than if I were not using Eventbrite.What problems is Eventbrite solving and how is that benefiting you?Live music is an important thing in life for me personally. Getting as close to the front row, if not the front row, is where I want to be. Eventbrite lets me know about the shows I am interested in in enough time to take action to hopefully get the best seats in the house. Using Eventbrite lets me know about concerts happening in cities my friends live in that I do not, and I can be the first to tell them about it.

What do you like best about Eventbrite?The fact that the event pages are customizable and simple to build makes them look professional and with the help of the multi-purpose event pages, we will make a good first impression without the assistance of a professional designer. The integrated promotion features and social media share functionalities proved to be a beneficial addition as well, as they have assisted us in reaching a broader audience and promoting ticket sales with minimum effort and the use of other marketing resources.What do you dislike about Eventbrite?Eventbrite is an expensive service when one has to cover extensive and regular events within a strained budget since this company charges the fees rather rapidly. Event pages customization also tends to be rather restricted and it may then be challenging to make an entirely branded experience that would correspond to our organizational appearance.What problems is Eventbrite solving and how is that benefiting you?Eventbrite has also addressed the issue of handling event sign-ups and customer communications through moving away the manual operations to an automated, centralized system. It has made the administration obligation on our team far less and has enabled us as a team to concentrate on providing a great event experience as opposed to the spreadsheet and individual confirmation emailing.

What do you like best about Eventbrite?Amongst multiple management platforms, Eventbrite brings the best game in all. Comprehensive thought-out UI and full-featured functionality make it one of the go-to platforms for any event management-related needs. A full-fledged set of APIs helped us integrate with our internal CRM.What do you dislike about Eventbrite?Nothing as such which could be a problemWhat problems is Eventbrite solving and how is that benefiting you?Seminars and workshops need a whole lot of work when it comes to inviting users from different places and time zones to join you. Eventbrite makes it easy - the event creation process is smooth and easy. Inviting users after event creation is also a piece of cake. Really liked it.

I should be noted differently (like this is a weekly event, click it to choose which date you plan to attend). That annoys me when I am surfing for events in the area or topic.What problems is Eventbrite solving and how is that benefiting you?In the past I used to promote events that my organization did. Now I use it only to find any interesting group to join.

Typically services are free.
