It allows me to assign small group and individual lessons to students that are struggling while also being able to challenge students that have success in topics! eSpark is amazing for ALL students!
What do you like best about eSpark?
As a special educator, I love how eSpark puts students on their own individualized paths. They can feel success at their own pace while learning curriculum and standard-based lessons. The students are engaged with fun videos and games. They continue throughout their journey while earning high fives that are a great way to celebrate success in the classroom.

Students can play the same game repeatedly if they want. They can go back or skip through videos quickly if they want. Some of my students need teacher redirection or

Great program for Math and Reading in 1st Grade
What do you like best about eSpark?
eSpark is easy for students to use and they enjoy using the program. It is not just drill and kill of repetitive skills. It uses a variety of multimedia to teach the concepts. For teachers, it is easy to see what students are working in relation to the standards. It is very standard-specific. It gives you small grouping idea based on the students performance.
What do you dislike about eSpark?
When students are taken to a video on YouTube after the video they can click on other nonrelated YouTube videos, so teachers need to monitor this activity.
What problems is eSpark solving and how is that benefiting you?
Small grouping and challenging each student at their individual level

A great way to have your students do differentiated work at their own level.
What do you like best about eSpark?
The best part about Espark is that it differentiates each student. I teach in a K-6 classroom, and every student has their own path. I also like the ability to assign small group skills to students who need extra work on something or what we do in Tier 1 teaching as a rotation station. My students love getting high fives when they are successful in their quests. They also love the opportunity to make a video and teach the skills they learned.
What do you dislike about eSpark?
I have found nothing wrong with Espark. Thank you!
What problems is eSpark solving and how is that benefiting you?
I like that Espark gave me a discount for my very small classroom of 9 students, K-6.

Love eSpark!
What do you like best about eSpark?
I love the differentiation that is possible with using eSpark! I can give my readers what they're ready for. I also love that I can choose skills that we are learning in our classroom lessons, or I can also assign different lessons to meet student needs.
What do you dislike about eSpark?
The only thing I have disliked about using eSpark is that there are limited skills to assign in the "Small Group Skills" section. There have also been some glitches - like students finish a task and it isn't marked as finished.
What problems is eSpark solving and how is that benefiting you?
eSpark is adding a valuable resource for small group time during our class's independent reading time. It provides an enjoyable resource for students and also productive feedback for the teacher.

Wonderful Engaging Tool !
What do you like best about eSpark?
eSpark is quickly becoming one of my favorite parts of teaching ELA. I have used it for two years with my 4th-grade ELA students. I have about 70 kids each year, so I have a very differentiated group. eSpark allows me to have kids working on their level on topics that we need to cover. I also love that I can assign specific assignments to one or all of the students. The assignments are a quick, easy way to check for understanding of the mini-lessons we have covered in class. The students love Wednesday's high five day! They earn stickers for each high five they have earned that week and have turned learning into a weekly contest! Love the high motivation factor here!!!
What do you dislike about eSpark?
My problems have been quickly resolved with an email to eSpark. The only thing I would change would be an easier way to reassign lessons that students don't pass.
What problems is eSpark solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to differentiate in the classroom and have a way to check for understanding on standards.

My students love using eSpark!
What do you like best about eSpark?
eSpark is the individualized adaptive learning program that we use for the ELL population in our district. It is aligned to state standards and the company also adds each students' test scores to the system so it provides targeted instruction for each child to support our English Language Learners at their level.
What do you dislike about eSpark?
Recommendations to others considering eSpark?
Students take a pretest for each skill and if they pass the pretest they automatically move onto the next skill. If students do not pass the pretest, the program automatically provides videos and apps for student to complete so they learn and practice the targeted skills that they need to master. Once students pass the post test, they have to write a script and then they use that script to make a video explaining what they learned. It is very engaging for our students and it does a nice job scaffolding content. Making a video is a great way for my students to practice using English to become more proficient. The visuals and audio support are perfect for our EL's and it provides practice in all four proficiency domains, listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Students love using eSpark in my classroom and I love how they get to work at their own pace at their own skill level. I even receive reports from the company each week to help guide my instruction. My students are always excited to progress through the many activities to learn new skills and they love making the videos at the end of their learning quest.

I find that the Espark experience has been outstanding for both students and the teacher!
What do you like best about eSpark?
I like that each child is working at their own level and can be challenged while at the same time enjoying their learning experience.
What do you dislike about eSpark?
Some issues that come up seem to deal with the apps not being marked as completed when the child has finished it. This can be quite frustrating for them and it is hard as a teacher to know for sure if the child truly completed the activity.
What problems is eSpark solving and how is that benefiting you?
Each child is working at their own pace and their own levels. Each child can get individualized attention if they need it and I am able to work one on one with those students when they need the help.
