there's alot of different portals that sometime can get confusing. Error codes come up often but can be fixed. Sometimes unlinks from the server. Using it everyday does sometime slow the system down

There's still quite a bit of inflexibility that makes it difficult when moving out of core distribution functions. Even though they've added modules for other areas, many of them are too weak for seriously operating those areas. Support is particularly weak and relies on the customer having advanced in-house knowledge to prove problems are in the product and not the customer's doing.

This software satisfies our business operation well and new version of prophet 21 is easier and faster to use than its previous version. However there is still a learning process to start use of application and sometime it glitches when big amount of data is being handled. Some more upgrades and maintenance services are still crucial for ensuring stable operation

Prophet 21 is built in a way that works with, not against our distribution business and is built with the tools to manage all parts of that business. The tools it provides makes it a key part of how we serve customers as a distributor. In addition, we do service and some manufacturing and Prophet 21 is able to do all of these under one unified platform.

You do have to spend the time to learn and understand the product. You have to create some of your own reports and dashboards; you have to customize some your forms to have all the information you need.
