I like that Epicor Eclipse is always continuing to improve the platform, which includes their AI improvements that help provide better services to the customer and enhance order entry. I find the initial setup to be easy, which is important for seamless integration into our day-to-day operations.

Easy Multi-Screen Navigation for MRP, Shortages, and Time-Phased Ordering

What do you like best about Epicor Eclipse?

Ease of navigating multiple screens , looking at MRP, item shortages , time phase to see when to order what to order and where to order.

What do you dislike about Epicor Eclipse?

MRP running background issues are some time painful resulting in missing some order placement. Delay in placement of order some time result in production interruption.

What problems is Epicor Eclipse solving and how is that benefiting you?

our Epicore ERP help us planning ,scheduling issuing Work orders , creating demand in system, placing orders by selecting best vendor for the Job. Subcontract order planning , scheduling and placing orders with subcontract manufacturer with back ward integration of material backflush.

Flexible and Configurable, but slow on new development

What do you like best about Epicor Eclipse?

I love the flexibility and configurability

What do you dislike about Epicor Eclipse?

I don't like how all of the new features and acquisitions go to other software before Eclipse and the least amount of development time seems to be spent on Eclipse. With the new developers hired, though, I hope that helps.

What problems is Epicor Eclipse solving and how is that benefiting you?

My role is eCommerce. Having the Eclipse API's certainly is helpful and benefits us versus our previous ERP. They are fast, work consistently and since they are in Eclipse it eliminates the need for a third party, which causes issues.

Eclipse is completely flexible. Anything you want to do in the software can be done somehow.

What do you dislike about Epicor Eclipse?

Finding the way to do what you want to accomplish is a bit of a tricky task. Documentation helps, but it is vast, so it's not as easy to find things at times.

Setting up and maintaining Eclipse requires some technical knowledge. But Epicor is good at assisting you when it comes to challenging IT issues.

It is a one-stop shop for all things distribution. It helps manage inventory lead times. It makes maintaining pricing easy. It does everything necessary to have a successful distribution business.
