There is one part where you have to evaluate how the student is doing and the wording is slightly confusing and I usually mess it up.

I like how easy it is to find information especially for parent teacher conferences if I cannot find the ell team.

The ease of access to relevant data points relating to student language acquisition is extremely helpful. Getting into Ellevation and finding my students is simple and the platform allows for a multitude of data points to be accounted for.

The filter options for data can be tricky. Without an easily accessible filtering system it can be challenging to look at the overwhelming information provided at once.

This is a great tool for sorting data for students to increase your instructional reach.

I'm solving the problem of having to spend much of my time as a classroom teacher identifying the level of English proficiency a student arrives to me with. Using Ellevation helps me to more easily determine a starting place for students in my class.

Ellevation offers multiple ideas for how to scaffold and support our multilingual learners. There are ready-made lessons and activities that model how to use each scaffold, in practice.

The least helpful item is not Ellevation itself, but just the fact that it's a separate platform. I wish the ideas in Ellevation could be embedded into some of the curricular websites and programs that we utilize.

Ellevation supports us with on-demand scaffolding ideas for supporting our students learning multiple languages. This is especially helpful since our school only has an on-site English as a Second Language teacher three days per week. When we cannot consult with her, we are able to use this platform to find supportive ideas for our students.

ELLevation Education has great resources for teachers to use with students. The resources would benefit all students in the classroom as well as EL students.

It does require some training to know how to navigate the program and review the data.

We have many EL students that need support and Ellevation Education helps to provide resources for those students.

This website helps me keep all of my student records/information organized and readily accessible. I am able to create rosters, groups organized by many different filters as well as contact other ESL teachers in my district. This is especially helpful because I often do not know the names of the elementary schools where the other ESL teachers work. With Ellevation Education this is not a problem. I can find my student's old teachers and contact the teachers via email directly through Ellevation.

I don't like that when you first log onto my "home page" there is a column called Recent Students. I don't like this because a lot of those students are from past years and I don't want them mixed up with my current list of students. I wish this column was not there.

As a language department, we are solving several problems with Ellevation Education: obtaining information regarding current roster of English Language Learners, running reports with various data fields (this is such a great feature), communication with teachers from other buidlings.

Ellevation allows users to find quick access about students, including reading level, demographic information, and classroom information. Ellevation also makes simple lesson plans available for use in the classroom.

If there are any drawbacks with Ellevation, its the limited number of lesson plans that are available. I wish there were more plans, especially graphic organizers, to use in the classroom.

As a teacher, I am able to share data with other educators, in addition to administrators and parents.

Ellevation is relatively easy to learn to use. In addition to being a valuable way to track multilingual learners, it has features like Professional Learning Modules for teachers to take PD courses on how to help MLs better. It also has collections of teaching strategies and corresponding lessons to use with MLs.

Ellevation could do better on certain things, such as allowing two ML teachers to be assigned to a student in their profile. We have also had issues with the meeting center and meetings not populating correctly.

My school has 120 MLs, so Ellevation makes it easy for us to track our MLs, add notes on their profiles, and house their classroom modifications and testing accommodations all in one space.

Ellevation is a good resource for keeping track of the tested abilities, levels, and overall progress of ELL students in the classroom. It also keeps all their plans and modifications in one convenient place. It makes it easier to give my ELL students all the support they need.

Ellevation provides lessons to use for ELL students, but I have not really found them helpful in building language skills. They seem like basic lessons and activities that are randomly included.

Ellevation helps me keep track of all the info related to the plans and progress of my ELL students. With Ellevation, everything I need to sign or read is all in one place and I am much less likely to forget or overlook anything.

I like how all the pertinent information for my students is stored in one place including test data, services, classroom modifications, and testing accommodations. I am able to view what services students received the previous year, how long they have been in the country, and what supports they received within the classroom. I can also view if a student has a special education label. It is very user friendly when I am printing the Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) as well as the Notice of Participation for my English Learners. It prints the WIDA standards right on the ILP so teachers and parents can understand the expectations. I am able to print in MANY different languages. There are a few that are unavailable, but I am impressed with the amount of languages that are available.

I dislike the fact that it doesn't talk to the other program we have to use. Occasionally, when data is transferred, the wrong information will populate (trouble recognizing certain languages). I also wish I could see information for students coming from other districts that also use ELLevation to store their data.

This is a good product that has worked with our township to customize the reporting for us. As the population of English Learners in state increases, they are moving to a statewide database. While this appears helpful, it doesn't have all the features of ELLevation.

It is a good way to share student information within our district. I do wish it would transfer information from other districts/users.
