I enjoy how the system runs a diagnostic on the students’ understanding and then sets forth lessons which will be helpful and useful for them at their level.

I don’t enjoy having to find how to run reports, etc...it’s a bit tedious.

I’m able to modify the instruction I have students at small group instruction time so they get the specific content support they need.

The ease of use once this program has been set up for specific students, makes it easy to craft specific lessons for the student. You, as a teacher, are able to create folders with specific work. You can also see how long a student spent on work so that you are able to track whether or not they just skipped around or really spent the time to do the work.

Just diving in, isn't an option for Compass learning. You need to make sure that you take the time to do the training's as provided. Once this is done it is easy to really get going and figure out the system. Some of the interface could be updated or with helpful hints/instructions when you hover or certain points in the program in case you get momentarily lost about what you are doing.

Compass Learning is a great tool and resources for simplifying and creating modified coursework for students. This program helps students by creating videos, lessons and short reading to really modify the content for them in order to keep it all interesting. The price might seem a bit expensive but I believe you school will be happy with the investment.

Increase in efficiency and creating reports on past work, is made easier by Compass Learning. I learned that I benefited from the ability to be able to separate student's from the entire system in order to just focus on their progress and gauge success and areas for improvement.

It is easy to use for the students. Very helpful in comprehension

I lost confidence and interest when I realized that ELA Pathblazer wat giving incorrect answers. My daughter (1st gr.) became frustrated completing activities assigned by her teacher, claiming, "Pathblazer is wrong mommy, it said I was wrong, but then gave the same answer I picked!" Only when I answered her question did I realize she was correct. I had to tell parents to avoid using Pathblazer, the app/website was having issues.

I am not sure what is meant by, "What problems am I solving, or what benefits I've realized?" I have recently assigned my current class to start using Pathblazer, but I will check in to verify the previous issues have been resolved. If Pathblazer is as it was intended, it is great resource for teachers.

Compass Learning is user friendly and provides resources for students and teachers.

At times Compass Learning can be slow and tedious.

Compass Learning has provided math and english resources for struggling students.

I like that it is a program that is very user friendly, and that the students can advance to the next level with ease and not feeling defeated. It has very good skills assessments and the variety of activities are great for building ELA (English Language Acquisition).

I am still learning more about how to utilize the program for use at home to assign things for my student to do at home and on school breaks to keep them involved with learning.

Please continue to provide the variety of skills assesments and skill builidng activities in English Language Arts and Reading.

I am not the primary person that is programming it, but within our grade level we are looking at ways to effectively use the data to reteach concepts that our students are struggling with .

When we started using this program I was excited about the opportunities for our children to work online. The software gave me the ability to check on learning comprehension through their instruction, assignment and quiz grades. Online learning is great on Edgenuity.

Recently we went from fully online to a hybrid schedule. My students who are in class are struggling with keeping up with both their online platforms and the in class work. I wish there was a way to print and scan some items in so that I can still have everything in one place and not split.

Do not try to use this program as a hybrid.

As stated, Edgenuity has been great for our online learning students. I have not had to dedicate as much time and energy with my online classes meaning I have had more time to focus on what truly matters, the students.

I like the idea of using the best teachers to teach a particular course then allowing a nearly unlimited number of students access to the course.

The problem is they do not get the best teachers to teach there courses. Also the quality of the teachers video is so poor it creates a distraction from the content.

Edgenuity is a great idea, but before I would recommend them they need better teachers and a more intuitive software.

We are trying to solve the problem of posting our assignment in one place and teaching the assignment in another. But Edgenuities emailing system and classroom set up is not intuitive enough from the teachers end.

Not much about this site is good but it is easy to use because everything you need is on this one site.

Edgenuity makes you jump right in, most of the time I get questions about things that I didn't learn .

Get ready to be bored to death

Edgenuity is boring and does not make people want to learn about things.
