It is a very user friendly software with a user interface that is most compatible with all kinds of users. Has a capacity to lend a wide spectrum of varied information database on both provider and patient analysis which can be used to investigate and hone in on any obstacles in accounts for a medical bill.

The system lacks any auto updating infrastructure which is not a must but could be a defining factor for a state of the art medical software. Laggy launch and systematic crash outs are not uncommon.

Do use it atleast once. It's best selling point I would say is the UI/UX and the stacks of information you could access in one place. Navigating this software is quite easy with multiple channels for quick access across a case that really comes in handy analysing cases.

ECW is a remarkable tool facilitating accounts receivable stage in the RCM cycle, helping analyze the critical errors and shortcomings with any particular billing for a medical service.

eClinicalWorks has one of the better interfaces in comparison to other EMRs and RCM programs. Fairly intuitive and reporting is decent. We have been on eCW for over 10 years both for EMR & for RCM. We do not see a reason to change any time soon. It fits our needs both on a clinical side and for rCM purposes.

Reporting can be hit and miss. However, once you get to know their EBO reporting system it gets a lot easier. I will say that they have gotten a lot better over the years. We have figured it out and have set reports that we run monthly and quarterly for RCM. I strongly suggest that new users get a set EBO report training from eCW. Also, if you need a specific report that they don't offer, you can have one custom built by eCW but it can be spendy to do so.

We don't have any current issues with eCW. However, when we do, we can easily chat online to find answers or we can open a ticket with them to fix the issue. No current concerns. We have had issues with upgrades in the past, but since moving to cloud-based it seems to have gotten better. We also are unsure about how it will go when they move to 100% web-based platform vs. having the option to be 'desktop' .exe based. We have users that use both and we have found that for our billing department the cloud-based platform is better.

ECW is a very easy to use program for our medical practice. I do the medical billing portion for our office and this software has been the easiest to use in my 15 years of medical billing. Also, ECW customer service is always very quick to get back to our office if we are having an issue.

My only dislike is when we wanted to updated the "look" of our statements, it was quite the process.

Our RCM has been great and we have not had any claims issues since we have been with ECW.

It's an easy to use software to handle our practice Revenue with a minimum work force.

They should improve and more work on reporting side and can pull the reports whatever we need.

A comprehensive software which is very easy to use and manage you RCM.

We have a problems to post the adjust and reversals on our payment posting side with old software which we have with eCW.
