The application supports multiple features like first notice of loss, numerous payment options and generating various reports.

Though various advantages to the application, the major disadvantage I felt after using it was that the updates make it very difficult for the system to configure the customized rules and regulations after every release. Secondly, it gets heavier on the cost front for the organization.

The major application of Duck Creek Claims was to work for the claims team was to initiate and create reports, FNOL, making payments and customizing the rules as per usage of different clients.

All of aspects of claims handling like FNOL, Payments, Reserves, Claim Folder, Receipts, Vehicles etc are efficiently covered and are easy and convenient to use for claim handlers. Console Application helps in creating required User Interface modifications, build expression functions and so many more features. Interactions with third party systems, Inbound and Outbound becomes convinient using Internal or External services.

A high overload on application during upgrade if high percentage of Custom modifications are done. Other than that, its an excellent product for customers as well as developers.
