I absolutely love DreamHost; they are unmatched in terms of stability and ease of use. At the same time, the pricing is incredibly affordable. Before using DreamHost, I had used many different cloud and VPS providers from various countries, but with DreamHost, I have finally found the absolute peace of mind that I spent years searching for without success.

What I dislike about them is that they do not have datacenters in Singapore or Australia, which is where I live and work, and where many of my clients are located. I hope they will expand to Singapore or Australia in the future; I believe many businesses in this region would be thrilled to use their services.

They have helped me solve the challenges of domains, hosting, email, and databases incredibly well. Their documentation is easy to read and comprehensive, providing us with the necessary knowledge to easily and deeply integrate with other products. I have never consolidated all of these services into one place before because it is usually too risky, but with DreamHost, I feel it is completely worth the money spent.

Respectful, courteous, accommodating, professionalism

Initially I had an issue with the time it took to get started . It was explained to me they waited until funds were clear. As it turned out the delay had no impact.. I am based in Australia so its likely the payment took longer than normal to clear . I should add it was quickly addressed in a very professional manner

No problems, it was a function based transaction many in the industry could of serviced. I'm not sure many would have delivered it as professionally as Dreamhost did. I am not a high value customer (yet) so the little things are very important to me. Dreamhost satisfied the little things well and built trust in delivering on future needs.

Shared hosting with Dreamhost is easy to set up and manage, and the support team is fantastic. I have a shared unlimited plan and can build as many sites as I need with unlimited bandwidth, and I can also set up managed email accounts for free with any site. Dreamhost's shared hosting also allows me to customize the setup for each website without feeling mired in code and tech. Accessing the control panel and making primary changes to the site structure could not be easier. It's also the primary hosting platform I recommend for not tech-savvy clients because it's intuitive to use. The support team is fantastic regardless of your level of experience with hosting and website management.

It's shared hosting, so if you need more dedicated resources and control, you won't get it with shared hosting. When there is a widespread issue with a shared server, you're at the whim of the team sorting it out and there is not a lot of recourse.

Expanded shared hosting with all of the resources and functionality makes it so easy for me to do client dev work, to set up primary sites and sub-domain sites foe course management, memberships, and more.

Dreamhost is a great entry level hosting company. If you're looking for top of the line features, they're not your goto but if you're just starting out and need to get a website online, the price is right, the hosting is solid and they even offer their plans as monthly packages. Where some providers charge for bits and pieces (extras for email, extras for this and that) Dreamhost includes them as part of your package, so you don't need to shell out additional cash. The hosting interface is easy to use and it's simple to find the different features that you need. Their customer support is top notch. I've never had a problem that they wouldn't help me with within a hour or two. You can go live with in in about 30 minutes after you purchase so it's easy to implement and easy to integrate as part of your hosting solutions.

Dreamhost servers can be a bit slow, which affects load times on the websites.

Dreamhost hosts some of our smaller websites that don't need super powered servers behind them.

Ease of setup and customization. You can quickly launch a new website on your account and still have access to advanced configuration like software versions and DNS options.

Cost has increased over time, but so has everything. Considering that seems to be a universal change, even that has been reasonable as increases have been on the low side so far.

They provide reasonably priced secure reliable hosting for our web application services, with downtime being an extremely rare occurrence. Additionally their service allows us to easily launch websites for our clients regardless of whether the sites are complex custom developed sites or as simple as a wordpress site.

Their website unhacking service, once it began, was thorough and communicative, and they checked in with me thoroughly to ensure everything was done.

I wish that the process didn't take so long to start once paid for, it would be nice for that spool-up time to be cut down.

Dreamhost is one of the best web hosting companies around. The dashboard is intuitive and easy to use and if I do have issues the Dreamhost support team is always willing to help.

The Dreamhost dashboard looks a bit different from the typical cPanel environment but once you get familiar with it, you will like it better.

Dreamhost keeps all my websites running smoothly.

Nusrat Shaikh was incredibly helpful and responsive in helping me learn how to do some basic edits on my website. She even made a quick video tutorial so I can do it myself next time. Highly recommend their services!
