Has all the basic tools one needs to create logos/animations, etc.

Easy to work with and lots of options. Tutorials are good and if you have not used a drawing program before they are an excellent way to get started. All drawing programs have a learning curve but this one is gentle.

It doesn't really allow you to import super high resolution images unlike photoshop but overall still a great software.

This software is excellent and comes in handy for me when i'm working in the copy/print center with projects.

What I like the best is that I'm able to create amazing things for my business.

What I dislike is that it's not compatible with all devices and operating systems.

The benefits are making graphics for blog posts, social media, and email marketing.

When I used this software I liked that it provided realistic looking brushes to create vectors with and allowed me to use watercolor type mediums while still retaining the vector quality. This was great for me and stepped up my graphic design capabilities.

I disliked that sometimes it would glitch or take a little while to respond to the brush strokes but that could've been an error on my end, not necessarily the software's.

I recommend taking time to get to know the software and don't give up right away. It is quite simple to use, just be patient. There are a lot of tutorials on YouTube to use, and customer support is great.

It solved being able to create my own graphics for my magazine and have it be high quality, and I realized that now I won't have to outsource it. The graphic quality is the best thing about this software and kept the magazine looking professional even though it was all done in-house. I was able to create cute little icons for the magazine that had the brush look that I wasn't able to do before.

Not only is this graphic design software easy to use, but it has all the tools you need to create unique logos, animations, posters and more.

The graphic program has the illustration tools you need to create anything, from a moving animation to a logo for a poster.

I like the ability to create drop shadows in this software package for use in web design.

Sometimes larger files, or those created by Adobe Photoshop do not open properly (incorrect formatting).

There are other, more modern alternatives out there (e.g. Serif Affinity), though if you are familiar with any of Serif's other 'legacy' products, the learning curve for DrawPlus will be easy to pick up.

This product has helped me create graphics for my web design, and add elements (e.g. shadows to create depth), to existing images. It helps for a 'professional finish' to my web presence.

Serif products have been for a long time a low-cost usable alternative to Adobe products, to which they provide a great alternative to a subscription license in a one-time purchase model. The resource load is significantly lighter than a product like Photoshop or Illustrator, which can startup sluggishly.

The interface can feel dated. Some of the file types do not match with Adobe exactly. Many artists and designers at the company had little experience with the software and therefore little confidence in it.

Unfortunately, Serif Draw Plus has been set aside as a "legacy product" rather than a current version, which means it comes with no updates or support. This is great news for hobbyists, enthusiasts, or freelancers who need a robust product at a low cost with few support or interoperability requirements. If you don't need the latest features, this can be a godsend. However, would recommend enterprises look elsewhere at a more more up-to-date product that represents the industry professional "standard."

Trying to accomplish the same tasks at a lower cost than we would with a more expensive program. Ultimately, however, not everyone was keen to switch from something they already knew, and the DrawPlus users were advised to discontinue using the product.
