Dialog is really easy to use and have launch features like the screen sharing mode, presentation mode and it can allow us to take control of a presentation in an effective way. Dialog software is a reliable product and integrates well with other tools because it is very flexible when we need to schedule meetings, perform calendar setup, launching the chat utility directly; so this platform can easily help us to complete our connecting desires. Dialog is also great for messaging and we can easily connect with our recipients and still use our hands to control other stuff on our computer.

One of the disadvantages of the software is that if our internet speed is weak so it affects the performance of our messaging and files sharing. This limitation can be very limited in some areas because the internet connectivity is not consistent and it prevented our remote staff from communicating back to headquarters. Its user interface of Dialog is not much attractive when compared with other popular social media applications. This is a very annoying and it is a waste of time.

It is extremely useful because of its screen sharing abilities to walk someone step-by-step through screen without trying to describe it to them or sending pictures of each step. I have been using this application.

While using dialog, we can save the messaging history but it has not much ability to save the shared files and documents. So it should be updated or fixed which should allow us to store the shared files and documents. The most obvious thing is that it does not have the feature or ability to edit and recover the messages that were previously sent.

Moreover, Dialog does not go for a long time with a high quality video result. So this software should be further improved for providing us the long time of great services of Dialog. Another major thing to be noted here is that its implementation in a rather large organization is a challenge in itself, we have to call in vendors team to deploy this tool at our workplace.

We have faced several situations at different intervals with this tool. It hasn’t really been modified to perform much of the tasks at the same time. One more thing that I have noticed on my usage period is that the desktop version performs way better than the mobile versions. I like being able to use Boolean operators (AND, OR, NOT) to connect search terms, and that you can use a truncation symbol (asterisk) within double quotes when searching for phrases. I like being able to limit by year of publication and to list search results by publication date.

Some databases are limited by the number of years you can search.

In my opinion, Dialog improved its ease of use when it was bought by ProQuest. I recommend getting any training available to make searching Dialog more efficient.

As for problems, sometimes fewer results are retrieved than hoped for. This may be due to search terms being too specific or esoteric. As for benefits, search results in Dialog are useful to researchers to view examples of research that have been in the same topic.
