This is probably the best web to print software I have found. You have enough control that you can do pretty much everything on your own, but not so much that it is confusing (once you are trained on it). The level of detail and options that you can accomplish with printed product options and pricing is impressive. Our training rep was amazing. He told us to consider him as a member of our team and I have honestly felt that way. We discovered what I wound consider a core functionality that was missing and he got the team to agree to add it without any custom development charges. He has also been happy to brainstorm with us on ideas of how to present certain unusual printed products which is great.

The initiation process wasn't great. We were given some basic initial training in the early stages before having the training rep, and we were given access to the software at that point too. It wasn't enough training though and it left us confused and frustrated. I think if we would have been connected with our rep sooner, he would have quickly and easily answered our questions and the process would have been smoother. Still happy with everything overall, but I do see this as one area that could improve.

We wanted to tie in a web to print solution to a Shopify site and this is what we went with. The software covers the product configuration, pricing, files uploads and online design tool. We haven't launched yet, but we expect that file will come to us ready to print which is a huge benefit compared to a basic file upload tool.

DesignNBuy gives our customers a clean, easy way to personalise products and see a preview before buying. The customisation flow is intuitive, and it helps reduce back-and-forth because the customer can finalise what they want on the product page itself. It also makes custom orders feel more premium and “self-serve,” which improves conversion for customisation-based products.

Most of the issues we faced came when the store setup changed (theme updates, side cart integrations, checkout changes). The customisation + pricing logic can become sensitive to cart/checkout wiring, and we had to raise multiple tickets to align the final price between cart and checkout.

We also needed more control over what gets displayed in the cart and checkout. More built-in toggles and clearer documentation for these scenarios would reduce support dependency.

It solves the core problem of custom products: customer confidence and production accuracy. Customers can design and preview their item, which improves conversions and reduces order errors. It also reduces manual coordination for custom orders, because the customisation output is captured in the order flow and can be used directly for production.

For us, as a small family printing company, the most helpful is that with Design’N’Buy we have our own IT and web design department within the company. Without much previous knowledge in these areas, we became recognizable on the market in a short period of time and stood out from the competition because Design’N’Buy enabled us to fully engage in our basic work and to progress. After two years of using it I claim with full responisbility that it would have cost us much more if we had built the web-to-print platform ourselves and paid someone to maintain it all this time. The solutions that were basically offered to us are mostly the ones that we needed, but there were no problems when we changed and adapted them according to the needs of the local market. We mastered most things very easily, and for larger requests, operatives from Design’N’Buy solved our problems in a short time, answered questions, introduced some specifics that we needed. All in all, we do not experience Design’N’Buy as an expense or a duty, but rather as a basic tool for work.

Basically, we have no complaints about Design'N'Buy, and if I had to mention something, it is that we are in different time zones and that our non-working days are different, but that is something that is accepted and easy to get used to, and in Design'N'Buy is trying so that we don't feel it.

Also, the Design'N'Buy system is much bigger than ours and they have employees for different issues, but this is overcome by having an account that is responsible for us, so we turn to him/her, and he/she forwards it to those who are specifically responsible for it.

Basically, the biggest convenience is that we don't waste time in conversations and correspondence with clients. Design'N'Buy online design and print solution provides answers to all questions and clients know what to expect, what is the price and what is the delivery time. Design tools are simple and if they are used via templates, they do not require any design knowledge and anyone can use them independently. We receive orders that have been prepared for printing and paid for, so that we can devote ourselves to our work.

I have received a good and quick response from the Customer Success Team, and I am currently using an All-in-One Web-to-Print tool for T-shirts. The platform is very easy to navigate and helpful for managing the printing business.

Everything is going well so far. Last time, I stopped the services due to the lack of good support, but this Customer Success Team has helped me to set up the tool

The design tool is very compact an compatible and the agency itself is very customer oriented. Their solutions helped us being more digitally advanced for our webshop.

Sometimes we run into language barriers, but this does not affect the outcome of the tasks.
