I find that Deltek product managers have a very keen sense of product user challenges and industry standards. The way new features are presented are evidence of how much value they place on user feedback and what care is taken in providing the most user-friendly experience.

Some features are not obvious and require a more advanced knowledge to be able to access. This has improved with each update, becoming more and more intuitive.

It solves financial management and reporting and benefits me by providing digestible insights.

Easy to Design Dashboards, Workflows, and Customizations

When Deltek removes the customization abilities such as import tables or other features.

As a consultant company, we need to see how other A&E firms use the software so that we can provide unique solutions for our clients issues. Being able to create custom hubs, fields, searches, reports, and dashboards helps us to track what Deltek Vantagepoint does not do inherently. Our clients enjoy the freedoms of these customizations as well.

It has been well over a year, I have accomplished so much in VP from Dashboards, customn reporting and screen design to add items to existing pages. I find the system very easy to use, and education and tips are easily available.

Purchasing module and the ability to handle blanket PO's we are unable to receive from a blanket PO and there for not able to drawn down on the PO.

I understand that it has assisted us with planning and project billing making it easier and more efficient.

Reporting is the most helpful feature. It allows me to create succinct data sets in an easy-to-use format for non-VP users

There is little information/training available for new users and their adoption of the system

I use Deltek Vantagepoint for project management, especially for scheduling and tracking the progress of projects. It helps me with business development and developing targets. I appreciate how it helps quickly update metrics for our group in real time, allowing us to actively monitor our workload and compare incoming projects to our budget or expectations. I find it great for pulling important project information quickly. Deltek Vantagepoint is user-friendly and very efficient. I also value the project details feature within the hub, where we upload information on every job, as it's where we spend most of our time. Additionally, I find the initial setup very easy; it's a lot of info at first, but you get it quickly with routine.

I have no complaints about the software, just lots more to learn about it.

Deltek Vantagepoint does have a wide range of options for things. It would be better to have training module to employees to go back through if to freshness up their memory on things.
