The great thing for us about Cux is that it allowed us to combine two former tools. Our heatmaps tool and our event tracking tool. Having this data together and easy to access has really allowed me to offer better user insights internally and shape our product road map
At first pricing wasn't clear and could have some more plug and play integrations with other data platforms. But for us it's not so bad as we just used their API
For a while we simply created features, changed layouts, changed content and we just believed it was the right thing to do. We also 'hoped' for the results. Cux takes the guess work away. Using it we are able to easily identify areas of our website and product being used the most, turning users on or off and what to change. Further more, when we do make changes we are able to track it step by step to see it's impact on our users experience, but also on conversion and revenue.
I like behavioral insights and heatmaps that are very accurate.
I don't like the fact that the pricing is not public.
It helps us understand what visitors do on our website.
Cux is meant for PM and Growth Teams. I love the fact that they have behavior segmentation, user segmentation, event-based conversion rates and auto-capture events.
It's a relatively newer tool in the market but nothing other than that.
I'd recommend to have a goal in your mind while using cux. Don't just use it for the website.
User recording, user event-based recording, segmentation, and analysis.
- I understand the drop-offs
- I understand where to optimize and increase adoption on my website + app.
Cux.io helps us understand what gets our visitors' attention, how they move around, what they click on the website and more useful analytics.
Well, I found nothing to dislike at the moment.
Cux.io helps us on getting actionable insights for increasing conversions based on where users click, how far they scroll and where are they located.
I love the pixel perfect heatmaps. They show me not only graphics that were clicked by the client but the exact point where it was clicked. And what more - they are optimized for all possible devices with a built-in internet browser as well as all screen resolutions.
I’m also fascinated with their new feature – Experience Metrics which helps me uncover the spots where clients get frustrated. It’s amazing that I can analyze users’ feelings – something that is not physical, and I can measure it with numbers. Thanks to indicators such as content zooming, rage clicks, rage k-presses, chaotic movements or constant refreshing I get an information that client may be getting angry or have problems.
Thanks to conversion waterfalls I can measure the conversion rate and find places where conversion drops. I can easily analyze not only URLs, but every event make by client on the website (click, scroll, form filling/submitting). What more – I can analyze filtered visits for users who drop out and immediately identify their issues . And all that without developers' support (thanks to auto-capture events!).
And one more - this tool wouldn’t be the same without Paulina, Kamil and their team. They are always willing to help, share their knowledge and experience. Talking with them is a real pleasure 😊
CUX is perfect for website and web apps, it’s a pity that they don’t support mobile apps :/
CUX helps analyzing the whole user journey on the website. It shows all the tabs opened by the client and treats them as a one visit, which is very important in analyzing online users' behavior. Thanks to this tool, we were able to find immediately bottle necks in our client’s purchase path and suggest him necessary changes to improve process.
I like the most the heatmaps. By analyzing the heatmaps we and our designer were able to make informed decisions when it comes to design. I used the real-time feature too, mostly for when we send out a newsletter and have a big amount of users visiting the website. Lastly, I can't NOT enjoy the insights they offer. (which is more than just numbers - like all the other tools usually do)
It was a bit difficult at first to do the integration with the website, especially if you're not a technical person.
I can act upon data when it comes to our website. Before Cux we used to follow only common best practices, but we came to realize that on top of that, you need information that is specific to your own audience.
The tool gives you a visual preview of customers’ visits actions & their complete journey on your website.
No dislike with Cux, it is working really fine and give the most valuable results.
Consumer behavior, visitor tracking, overall user flow, user onboarding process, overall improve the landing page conversions.
I love being able to play what the user does on the website and this can help me put myself in his point of view so I know where to improve the layout, so this will improve the overall conversion.
I don't think there is something specific I don't like, but maybe I would like to see some more features or recommendations based not the reports.
I think Cux is really easy to implement and the value is really worth it.
I think improving the overall website conversion has a huge impact on anyone's business revenue.
It's a great little tool, especially given the price, but it doesn't allow enough flexibility to be your main on-site research tool.
Sometimes it runs a little slow. But overall we are all happy here with the product, my team is also satisfied with the reports we have received from cux.io.
cux.io is very easy to setup. Simply signup, install the javascript code, and you're off & running. The heat-mapping tool is good, and the ability to record user sessions is nice when auditing user flow and customer activity on a website.

Great client support, provides a lot of information and looks fun.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
My team has been using the lollipop payment plan and it saves us a ton of time. We made an A/B test for one of our websites and could tell the better version in two weeks.
