CoStar gives the user the ability to do advanced searches for leases in a specific location. You can limit by area, square footage, building class, space type, etc. You can also gather market analytics.

Asking rent figures are not always reliable or available. Market data for rural areas is not robust.

So the problem solved is may be an unseen issue with the client thinking that you have better software than the next guy? Very detailed but not as detailed as other programs such as ProCalc.
What do you like best about CoStar Lease Analysis?
Just seems easier than some other analysis software, but that's maybe due to less features as other programs.
What do you dislike about CoStar Lease Analysis?
Needs a few more more details inside the lease vs. buy analysis.
What problems is CoStar Lease Analysis solving and how is that benefiting you?
It does seem more streamlined than ProCalc and less cumbersome. Therefore, the customer is presented with a more glossy and visually esthetic program.

The input of data is very easy to use and manipulate for unique situations. It is like a TurboTax for Lease Analysis because it goes through step by step data entry to ensure the analysis has the correct data.

The product is a bit hard to get used to at first. I had to click a few different places to find out where information should be entered.
