I really cannot think of anything here, yes, issues crop up but their attention to service is excellent.

Payroll system could be a little more robust but you can easily integrate and service if needed.

I love the cloud based solution. It was amazing when we experienced a fire and our software was hosted and we could access from anywhere. Their customer support is amazing and being a hosted customer, it's amazing to have CGC taking care of all software updates and being able to access my site and help when I need it.

I don't like dislike anything! No downsides.

The benefits of cloud based/hosted solution is one I would recommend to everyone.

eCMS 4.2 is an outstanding product that meets all our accounting needs. CGC has always given us excellent customer service as well.

We have no complaints with Computer Guidance or eCMS. Everything is very good.

CGC worked with us over the last few years to add payroll direct deposit and that process went very well.

My favorite thing about this software are the IDIs (Interactive Data Inquiries) they allow users to create custom content and build reports in a simple way that easily exports into an Excel file.

I would like field lengths to be increased in some areas but it doesn't impact the usefulness of the product.

We are able to easily manage users access without limiting tools they need to do their jobs. The addition of content management has cut down the AP keying time dramatically.

Coming from the accounting side of the business I have to say payroll is what I like best about the ERP. We are an union contractor and eCMS can handle the processing of multiple unions along with the weekly/monthly reporting requirements.

eCMS at times is not always the most intuitive software. However, the support staff at CGC is always able to walk me through a problem and provide me with the best solutions.

Our current document management program is being sunsetted. We are currently working with CGC to create various document repositories within their Content Management module to house all of our confidential documents. Their staff have been very helpful with the creation and set up of this. Not to mention we can now eliminate a software subscription because eCMS has the functionality built in.

Always helpful and friendly support and very fast to fix problems.

Sometimes things can get glitchy but usually things work fine.

Some things may take a little time until a fix update, but problems are always resolved.

The online resolution library, test environment capabilities, and the quick resolutions received when requesting assistance from the Computer Guidance support team.

I would like to see notifications when updates are released, listing changes that occured.

I would always recommend test driving the application you are interested in before purchasing to make the best-informed decision you can. Include a situation where you would need to contact the support team at CGS to ensure you are comfortable with their response and guidance. Look at all aspects of the application, from how you would utilize it at present and what you may need from it in the future.

As a "pilot" company for CGS, we are always looking for the best and most efficient way to track the information we need from different applications. Working with CGC to help enhance the product we utilize, eCMS, helps us with the day-to-day operations and our ability to evolve as the industry develops.

A few of the most helpful things about Computer Guidance Corp. would be the ability to generate different reports from several different aspects in the system, the ability to problem solve by tracking items down easily. No matter where you key in your data, there is always a way to trace it back to see where it originated from. The ability to track Submittal due dates with reports and the CGC response time when an issue arises with the system.

The only downside to Computer Guidance Corp. would be the outdated portion of keying a Purchase Order Change Order. Navigating through that portion and editing a Purchase Order Change Order, within CGC, is not as user friendly as keying a Request for Proposal.

Computer Guidance Corp. gives us the ability to problem solve by tracking items down easily. No matter where you key in your data, there is always a way to trace it back to see where it originated from.
