I like the effortlessness of the software. Its nice that it is so accessible on my desktop and that it automatically copies to my clickboard. It saves me SO much time!!

Nothing so far. The only thing is that you have to have an account, its not free.

Helping create instructional videos for my clients to follow.

You can access it immediately via myriad mechanisms; taskbar, sys tray, extension... . Then the videos are both store online and can be download. Tertiary: and before I state this, I will claim there is no better video-making software out there - they offer a free tier. Fourth, the name is swift ("Zight"); it rolls off the tongue nicely, although my aging brain had already memorized CloudApp, the former name. I could go further but Pentagon might get jealous: whither has man better audio-visual tech than DARPA - the builders of the internet.

They changed their name, like Katy Perry taunts.

It is a specialized and standalone software that is feature rich in its inception; I do not need to launch a gargantuan software to screen capture.

It allows me to quickly get a GIF, snapshot of instructional material for my clients, and even for my colleagues!

Nothing at this point. Everything works fine with the tool.

Difficulty in instructing clients by providing lengthy step-by-step procedure in words. I myself is visual learner so it's hepful to have a tool that lets you capture the whole instance and share it with just a link!

I really like that I am quickly able to take a screenshot or make a video that I can then easily share with a client.

When I watch videos that I have already made, I dislike that the video is not very high quality.

Zight is allowing me to quickly connect with customers and help them find solutions to their questions.

It seems to combine the all best features of the other apps I've tried and given up on, I have been using Zight for a few weeks now and have recommended it to several co-workers as well.

There seems to be a weird quirk with my MX Master 3 mouse, Zight & Zoom - the shortcuts to trigger a capture work as expected EVERYWHERE except if I am in an active Zoom call and try to use the button I have configured for mute/unmute (which has nothing to do with ZIght), it triggers a capture. Not enough of an issue to stop me from using Zight daily!

Zight simplifies screen capture and makes it easy to create a quick walk thru.

This app is so convenient and save me so much time. The extension makes it easy to create a screenshot or record a video. So helpful, especially being remote.

It was hard for me to figure out how to capture different screens or apps outside of my browser. Its been smooth sailing since I figured it out.

The need to schedule a meeting to do a walk through or training. Simply record it and it can be shared and viewed at the recipients convenience. Relaces "print screen."

Zight is so easy to use and can operate either as a Chrome extension or downloaded on your computer. Zight is fast and starts recording within seconds. You can easily select whether you'd like to share a tab, window, or entire screen.

I can't think of anything. It's effective and quick.

Being able to troubleshoot technical issues with my internal teams. I also use it to easily demo our product to customers via email.

Easy to use to take any screenshots n screen recording

Nothing in my mind. Everything is good in cloudapp.

Explain client or show client the resolution of an issue or an issue troubleshooting finding result with ease n get appreciation from client for short n productive reply to an issue.

I like how easy it is to capture a gif and send it, but when I need something longer, I like that I can narrate and be on video while talking about my screen. I have never used or seen a competitor outside of just using the native screen recording function or Quicktime.

In general, there's not anything I don't really like -- it takes time to process videos, and that's just life, but if I want to just share a link and not go view it myself then I can do that almost immediately.

Working in solutions, I am often asked about specific features or functionality of applications -- this allows me to show and explain them without sending very long videos or directing people to help centers -- it is much more personalized and digestable.

I love that I don't have to send the file many time to diferent users. Zight uploads to the cloud my screen shot and I only have to share the url to my team mates

you have to pay for the pro version :( but the screen videos are totally worth it

not having to share a file is great. My emails and instant messaging app that have to have memory usage for ducplication the location of the file
