ChurchSuite is a powerful database, room booking and people management system.

I love that it's easy to use, covers every aspect of church life and management and that the team are incredibly responsive, friendly and helpful.

The system is in active development with regular strategic improvements and it seemlessly handles donations including Gift Aid (UK). There are so many things that this system can do. It is scalable and covers any aspect of church life and management, but it can be used for any charitable organisation just as easily.

I like everything about it. The team are great at deploying relevant updates and information. I wish I could train all of our staff team on every aspect though as there is so much it can do.

I've researched many of the top church management solutions and keep coming back to ChurchSuite - it's a robust one-stop solution for churches (but I believe useful to other charitable organisations and probably even business too). If you're overwhelmed by the options and price plans out there, sign up with ChurchSuite - they can help import your data if you have some already as well as get you set up. The risk is low as it's a low reasonable monthly subscription, so in the very unlikely scenario that it doesn't work for you, you can cancel.

We would be wasting valuable time trying to administer church without ChurchSuite, but now we're able to spend time focusing on people. ChurchSuite centralises our rotas too and key leaders and overseers are able to interact with relevant parts of the system, so it empowers our volunteer teams too.

The Pros are a long, long list. Here are my top features:

1. Everything you can do on your computer, you can also do using their ChurchSuite App on iPhone, iPad and Android. Update people's contact information or schedule calendar events while in a meeting. Unbelievable.

2. There is a staff, pastor and lay leadership facing service (ChurchSuite); a member and attendee facing service (My ChurchSuite) to provide access to your members for directory, calendar, small groups, online giving, volunteer management, and more; and a check-in and new member orientation service (Connect). A complete package that can touch every person in your congregation.

3. Many of the features may be embedded into your website. Just copy the code and add it to the website. Each event or small group has its own picture and description that you may edit. The result is fresh content to your website daily and weekly that would never be possible otherwise.

4. The best customer service. Have a question? You will get an answer quickly. ChurchSuite is in the UK, but the time difference from the US has never been a signficant issue. Friendly customer service. 350+ support articles; 32 videos.

5. The software updates immediately. Enter a new contact, refresh the page, and that contact will now be in the address book. No waiting for an overnight update.

6. Reports that are instantaneous. If the pastor wants to know something, he or she can click on the report and see it instantly.

There really isn't a con associated with ChurchSuite software. It is the most completly designed software you could imagine. The attendance module is perhaps one of the less developed modules. But ChurchSuite's focus on small groups is probably a better focus for future growth in your church. This company is serious about helping you succeed.

ChurchSuite is designed so that everyone in the church is able to use it. The administrative side is used in various ways by staff, pastors and committee leaders. Every church member/attendee may have access to the My ChurchSuite application. Committeees may use the software for each member to keep in touch with the rest of the committee.

The strengths of ChurchSuite include a very robust database management system, a small groups manager, and integrated communication (email, SMS, push notification etc.) features.

The ChurchSuite mobile app (and mobile features in general) is really not strong compared to other similar services. The lack of integration with services like 'Planning Centre' is a weakness.

In order to effectively shepherd a congregation from a communication and logistical standpoint, you need to be able to keep a razor-sharp database, communicate easily to pre-arranged groupings, and track the flow of people's ministry journey. ChurchSuite does this very well.
