BOM manager software helps to improve the controlling over material supply chain. And it helps to find which all are the sticks are important and non important.

As far now I didn't felt any problems from this software. Usually the problems which we are facing from this software is actually human errors only. So I'm fully satisfied with this software.

This software ensuring a complete and accurate view of product prats and for protecting and analysing the use of resources throughout the lifecycle of a product.

I like the way of creating and adjusting the items. There is a simple interface and convenience for various businesses. The reports and exports for a group of BOMs are also good functions.

Maybe there are not many weak sides, but sometimes the whole program is crashing for some time, but this is not often. It will be good to add some additional options for the materials, like additional fields in the general overview for better visualization.

Maybe it can be improved the technical support as when some issue appear we need a faster support by their team. Also it will be good if we can customize the general menu.

This software solves the bill of materials, and it was part of our ERP system. It can provide good reports for management puproses and audit requests too. there are a many ways for data export which is very usefull for the end users.

We are transitioning to a new ERP, so we have been testing out many new offerings as we consider out options, but also consider outside sources for our manufacturing and engineering teams to make their lives easier as compared to solely utilizing the ERP's BOM system. So far, we have found that BOM Manager is filling a gap we once had in regards to outlays and roll-ups, and about 60% of the engineering staff is on board; while the manufacturing group is still deep in their test phase, they seem to like the fact that it is an outside program that can handle their thousands of BOMs.

A tad bit clunky for what we are looking for however, the overall consensus is that it is a much better upgrade over the ERP system.

If you're looking for an independent BOM manager, consider this as we produce for substantial companies, and we feel with BOM Manager as our software, we will be able to justify certain price increases when we can show, in a quick manner, BOM tree's, unlike in our ERP based system which required a download, and then a lot of Excel/PowerPoint work to get it into a legible format.

It's not that we are solving a problem, more so that we are looking for something new to replace us solely utilizing the ERP-based BOM system, which is, to be honest, clunky and limited in feature sets.

One of the best features of this, I think, is the fact that I can customize alerts when someone adds/changes something to a BOM. There's also a feature where you can run a program and it "scrubs" old/obs parts from a BOM - no search necessary!!

The interface isn't the best looking... kind of blocky. But other than that, I can't complain.

I think one of the highlights of this is how to set up an alert when someone adds/changes something to the spec. There are also components that allow programs to run regardless of persecution and "clean up" old or obsolete parts of the specification.

It probably has few weaknesses, but sometimes the whole program crashes for quite some time, but it doesn't happen often. For better visualization, we recommend adding some extra options for things like extra fields to the overall layout.

It provides a complete and accurate view of an item, protects and isolates asset usage over the life of the item.
